The US has established Kenya as its base of Africa operations ( Africa command assets are already being moved to Lamu one at a time . There will be a permanent rotation of thousands of US military personnel back n forth)…. Think of it as BATUK Nanyuki on steroids. As you noticed, Kenya was not affected by visa ban despite our “ Minnesota Somali problem”…The goal is to make Kenya in Africa what Israel is in the Middle East for US foreign policy in matters of national security. And for that to be accomplished, Kenya must attain a regional military edge above the rest. So KDF will be the biggest beneficiary of this policy. Also some of the US assets coming to Lamu will be of another level. It will not be ours but it’s good for deterring any potential enemy.
