Battle: Dar es Salaam vs Nairobi

Battle: Dar es Salaam vs Nairobi

Hawa wakipewa fainals za Afcon sijui labda wawe wamehonga! Kumbuka 2027 utakuwa mwaka wa uchaguzi!
You said the same about CHAN and here we are, we are going to host the finals. Actually, you said we are not even going to host CHAN in the first place. Prepare for heartache in 2027

Just because you are Bongolala, doesn't mean you become a fool.

Kenya has had SEZ since when you father was a young man. Our most successful one in Athi River since 1990 has single-handedly been one of AGOAs biggest exporters in Africa since inception.
Just because something is going by a different name... anyway, only a bongolala brain.

Since then, Kenya has had numerous other SEZs. Maybe the one you're most familiar with is Two Rivers and Tatu City.
There is also Nairobi Gate, plus many others outside Nairobiu

Unlike yours, ours are actually functional and privately-owned. The only way LDC bongolala can fund anything big physically, like a new stadium, if when Mama Aida Amina diverts funds from critical things like health and education.

You building anything comes at the expense of social welfare, and unlike you who's never stepped foot in Kenya, I've traveled to bongo several times. Pathetic.
I came to realize even arguing here is like a guy in Karen justifying his place in society to a Kawangware hawker.

For Dar to even compete with Nairobi. For 99% of tourists and foreign YouTubers to 'prefer' Nairobi after visiting both. For Dar to even rank anywhere on anyone's wishlist. For you to win tourist on anything other than what nature (Serengeti) and the queen gave you....

You need to demolish 90% of the buildings in DarSlum. Start from scratch, plan a grid or something organized, and think seriously about your future.
No amount of flyovers will help when 98% of the city looks like a ghetto the moment you exit the main highway.

The same American YouTuber who thought he had entered some place in Atlanta upon leaving JKIA, commented that Dar reminded him of Haiti upon leaving JNIA.

Trust me: It's easier to force the government to build a road and infrastructure, than to force 10,000 home owners to demolish their 1950s-looking structures and build modern buildings.

Bongoslum is atleast 50 years away to being the Nairobi of 2025.
If you don't agree with that assessment, go argue with your grandparents.
TKO🤣🤣🤣

Must everything have monetary value attached to it? Some things are built for convenience, pride and everything in between. Tell me, what's the monetary value of the amphitheater in Zanzibar or the one at the University of Dar?
When had you ever seen us celebrating such "amphitheater in Zanzibar" a thing?

Palm valley ni moto ( and one of many housing estates we never care to mention) but I had to coz it gives me Southern California vibes .. After those 3 UN bodies relocate their world hqs. to Nairobi by 2026 , the demand for high end housing like this Palm valley will be so high . Give Nairobi 5 more years , then let’s meet in Upperhill or Westlands..
