Battle: Dar es Salaam vs Nairobi

You are flying in your own fat ..🤣🤣… exactly just as you stated . Proposed in 2003 after Nairobi initiated BRT feasibility studies in 2002 following proposals in the late 90s. You get the picture now ?

Kenya evolved the idea of a Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system in Nairobi as a solution to address chronic traffic congestion and improve public transport efficiency. The project's roots can be traced back to discussions starting around 2009, with formal documentation in 2012 through Sessional Paper No. 2 of 2012 on the Integrated National Transport Policy. The concept gained significant momentum around 2016, as part of the Nairobi Integrated Urban Development Master Plan, leading to the formation of the Nairobi Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (NaMATA) in 2017.

Here's a more detailed breakdown:

  • Early Discussions (2009-2012):
The idea of a BRT system was initially considered to address Nairobi's severe traffic challenges and improve public transport.
  • Formal Documentation (2012):
Sessional Paper No. 2 of 2012 officially recognized the need for an integrated transport system, including a BRT component.
  • Increased Momentum (2016):
The proposal gained traction as part of the broader Nairobi Integrated Urban Development Master Plan, highlighting the need for a more efficient and reliable public transport system.
  • Establishment of NaMATA (2017):
To oversee the implementation of the BRT system and other transport initiatives, the Nairobi Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (NaMATA) was established in 2017.

The project aims to create a network of interconnected BRT lines across Nairobi, focusing on high-demand corridors to provide faster and more reliable public transport options for commuter

Profit ya Safaricom Kenya imeandikwa tu vizuri ni 82 billion but due to the losses made in Ethiopia inashuka to 35 billion which is still more than 32 billion made by NMB Bank which is the most profitable bank in bongoslum. Yani hata na hasara kubwa in Ethiopia bado Safaricom is more profitable than any company in Bongoslum. Woiiiiiii aibu.

Mlivyo mataahira mnaweka Safaricom inayooperate Kenya na Ethiopia na KCB na equity zinazooperate nchi zaidi ya 7 na bado Tanzania inawapelekea moto, yaani ni Tanzania versus entire region 😂

Nairobi BRT was proposed in the late 90s before Tanzania knew what BRT meant. Studies commenced early 2000s but got delayed as usual by politics ( someone gotta eat) but commenced again in 2004 . The signing ceremony was years back . I noticed same happened with Mombasa Gate Bridge.. ( politics as usual).. but Kenya leads and you follow. It’s like you have a government department purposely for watching Kenya..🤣🤣Facts!
