Though they moved the world cross country championships to Mombasa in 2007 . ( Imagine Mombasa has hosted a world event while Dar has never even tried a continental case )..

But just in case you forgot, Kenya is a Continental cricket powerhouse. Over the years, there has only been three successful cricket teams on the African continent; Kenya, South and Zimbabwe. They've featured in almost all ICC World Cups. Kenya were 2003 Wold Cup semi-finalists! All these are. still a pipe dream for Tanzania.

Also, we even co-hosted 2003 World Cup event together with South Africa and Zimbabwe.
