KANU won independence for Kenya and supported the MAU MAU freedom struggle. Yet no average reasonable Kenyan would come here to praise KANU .. we recognize and appreciate their efforts through Jamhuri Day, but we are not political bootlickers. We leave it to history books and history tellers like any other advanced society.

Apart from the experience of political dispensation, Kenyans no nothing about real freedom. Therefore, not praising Kanu is moral prerogative. They have failed you in so many ways: economic freedom, food security and so on.

You might be right about KANU .. am with you on that one .. but what has CCM done for you since independence… Ujamaa villages?…. Richest country in natural resources yet one of the poorest in the world. Even KANU would have very much succeeded if Kenya had such natural resources…Facts!
