Battle: Dar es Salaam vs Nairobi

Asante kwa kukubali kwamba hamna estates. Tunapenda watu kama wewe who speak the truth. And what did you mean by 'apartments ambazo ziko kwenye towers'? So wewe unaishi TPA tower ama what exactly do you mean?
Tupo tofauti sana mkuu,
Huku kwetu ni Mafanikio makubwa mtu kuhama kwenye renting house na kuhamia kwenye nyumba yako, (the house of your dream)
Hata ukichumbia huku tz wakwe watakuuliza at the first day, Je, Umejenga?
Although there are lots of apartments in Dar pia,
Kama hizi,

But sababu Kila mtanzania ana access to the land, (in DSM periphery unapata plot 25*25m kwa only $1500-2000

Who told you that those who live in Nairobi don't have houses? Sisi tunaishi Nairobi kikazi, hapa si kwa mtu. Personally I live in a rented apartment in Donholm but I have a very decent house back in Migori town, my ancentral home. Nairobi is a regional hub with many international companies who have set their regional and continental headquarters here so the price of land is very high, another testament that Nairobi doesn't play in the same league as Dar. Those who work and live in Nairobi have homes upcountry and I have given myself as an example.

Braza.. lemme give you this reality.

Watu wanaomiliki nyumba Dar, pia huko kwao upcountry wana nyumba.

To me it do not understand.. kwamba your whole life (I mean Monday to Friday) unaishi kwenye rented apartment while una nyumba upcountry.. its just bogus kwamba you're proud of a house you don't even live in.

Meaning.. regardless how valuable something is.. as long it can't solve your problems right now it's just a decoration.

Regardless how beautiful your house in Migori is.. as long as it can't accommodate you in Nairobi.. it's just bogus.

That place is dirty, that place has no town planner's at all.

Tell him to locate it

Sasa wewe unatuonyesha villas? tukianza kuonyesha villas za Runda, muthaiga na Spring Valley hapa kutakalika kweli? we asked you to show us residential estates where a common mwananchi in dar lives, not some expensive villas and beach properties with swimming pools as if that's where a common person in Dar lives. Show us the likes of Buru Buru, Umoja, Kasarani or Donholm where the low-class, middle-class and upper middle-class live. Halafu hizo tall buildings with glass cladding in the cbd umeonyesha hapo juu pia ni nyumba za makazi?

Yeah hizo tall buildings ni makazi ..mostly upper middle income ..most of low and middle class wana nyumba zao wenyewe ..cause its cheap to build your house of dream ..rather than kuishi kwenye sare sare ..huku kila mwanaume anajenga nyumba yake kwa uwezo wake

naliamsha dude:

that being said,i present to you a sample of random photos that show private houses owned by the common citizens of dar es salaam.

Nyinyi endeleeni kujaza Dar with swahili villages. as I stated earlier, the price of land in Nairobi is like three ir four times that of Dar so not every person can afford to buy land in even the most ordinary estates in Naitobi like Umoja or Kasarani. That's why it's cheaper to rent than to buy a piece of land then build a home. I'll give you an example the site where Pinnacle is putting up the tower was acquired for Ksh600 million. 1/8 of an acre in langata which is a middle-class estate goes for upto Ksh30 million. How many people can afford such kind of money hata hapo Dar? That's the difference between these two cities
