It’s just a patriotic story nothing else… bragging about a war that was fought with ancient weapons does not represent the true capacity or capability of your military in today’s terms since those weapons and tactics are not applicable in modern war theater… and Idi Amin was not the brightest military planner anyways… fact that he mobilized the Army and Air Force to train for a golan heights take over from Israel just shows how naive he was … even a rag tag army would have defeated him…but with all that… I still give credit to Mwalimu Nyerere for his intervention….
