daresalaam will need like 20 years to achieve half of what Nairobi has.Nairobi is not a perfect city but one of the best black cities in the world in terms of Investments, infrastructure, research, civilization and wealth generation. Its the most developed city between Joburg and cairo

Really? What is that? Very poor planning. Terrible planning. You cant pass a BRT in residential areas. I thought BRT is meant for the CBD??

do you have any decency outside your Kariakoo which only accomodates 36000 people. ....and upanga which barely accomodates 10000 indians and Europeans. no single ordinary estate from dar have i seen since this thread started...when we get a proper aeriel view of Dar i see an avalanche of impoverished dwellings sorrounding the lonely cbd or Kariakoo. ....smh

how they passionately defend that mess is beyond me.Get a clip of rayvanny when he won BET and his trip to Dar CBD from the airport. ....utajionea maajabu ya transport na barabara za dar. ...dala dalas are in their frenzy amidst the BRT whatevers. ...I started scratching my head on how weve been duped over here. ....Daresalaam is just chaos

Yea, It won the prestigious Global award in Architecture in The USA 2016. Dar will take another 100 years to get any architectural masterpiece. Architectural masterpiece is not glass, glass only conceal poor architecture.
