

️ | INJURY UPDATE!
The Evening Standard (@standardnews) have given an update on the injury status of five Arsenal players.

Bukayo Saka
• The Arsenal winger hurt his foot during the 4-0 win over Bournemouth. Assessments will take place this week. Saka has also been dealing with an ongoing achilles injury.
• Expectations are he will be available for Man City this weekend.

Gabriel Jesus
• 26-year-old was seen limping a bit at the end of the match against Bournemouth. Brazilian has just returned following a recurring knee problem. Assessments also to take place this week.
• No news on the severity of the injury.

Thomas Partey
• Partey has been out for just over a month after suffering a groin injury. Reports have been circulating that the midfielder could make a shock return against City this weekend, but that still seems a bit early.
• The Gunners midfielder is expected to return around 21 Oct, Chelsea.

Gabriel Martinelli
• 22-year-old is still nursing his hamstring injury with Arteta confirming the winger has not yet returned to training.
• Hope is he is available for Man City this weekend.

Jurrien Timber
• The Gunners stand-out player of preseason suffered an ACL injury in the opening weekend of the Premier League. Recovery going well - better then expected - but still a long road to go.
• Only expected to return Feb/March 2024.
