: According to the Evening Standard, Arsenal have received a boost in their pursuit of Kai Havertz with Chelsea set to drop their £70m asking price.

: “Chelsea are now under pressure to lower their asking price after being told the player has no intention of extending his £220,000 per week contract that expires in 2025.”

We have heard that Arsenal still want the deal for £50m (guaranteed) + £10m [£60m total] in performance related add-ons after meeting with Chelsea officials yesterday. Player wants move and is pushing.
