Vieira – Arsenal are lacking Man United's "killer mentality"

The ex-Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira may now play for Man City, but he is still a supporter of Arsene Wenger's team and thinks that he knows why the Gunners don't win any trophies; They don't have the strength that they used to have in the days of the Invincibles.
He believes that they are lacking the mental strength of Alex Ferguson's Man United, which is why the trophies are more likely to end up at Old Trafford than the Emirates.
"I am an Arsenal supporter," Vieira said. "I am frustrated because it's the team who play the best in England. I love watching them play."
"But there's nothing in the end. The Arsenal players are doing it right but they've got to add something, especially in their physical impact.
"In our time, Tony Adams, Martin Keown, Nigel Winterburn or Ray Parlour certainly had less quality in their play but they'd put their heads where others wouldn't put their feet.
"Arsenal don't have the killer mentality (This is our main problem) of Manchester United. The problem is that important players like Fabregas and Van Persie will finish by asking questions."
Maybe Vieira will come and work under Arsene Wenger when he retires from Man City at the end of the season. Will he be able to persuade Le Prof to buy some big hard defenders?
