Draw ilipofanyika kuna watu walisema it was a trick draw but it has turn out to be the most easy draw.

See you on sunday for another London derby.

Arsenal use the Law to kick-start their spree as chief negotiator arrives ahead of D-Day

Deal-fixer Richard Law has arrived at Arsenal's London Colney HQ for a critical seven days.

With just a week until the transfer window closes, the North London club's chief negotiator made his way to their Hertfordshire training base in preparation for what they hope will be a period of record-breaking spending.

Law splits his time between the club's London hub at Highbury House and London Colney.

Much to ponder: Arsenal boss Wenger during a training session ahead of the Fenerbahce match

Watching brief on Arsenal v Fenerbahce

But the American was in position at his training ground office on Monday to lead the club's attempts to strengthen their squad with manager Arsene Wenger close by.

His presence provides a clear indication that Arsenal's much-hyped summer of spending is finally about to take off.

One of Law's main objectives was to rubber-stamp a deal for Mathieu Flamini, who trained with the Arsenal squad yesterday.

Law held a meeting with the 29-year-old defensive midfielder and his agent at around 1pm, with a deal expected to be confirmed before the weekend.

The club are still keen on Karim Benzema, Angel Di Maria and Mesut Ozil and have had encouragement from Real Madrid officials that the trio are available.

However, it is understood Madrid chiefs are unwilling to finalise deals until Gareth Bale arrives at the club, which is still expected in the next few days.

The Gunners will table offers for all three players once given the green light to proceed from Real chiefs.

Of the three, Arsenal believe deals for Di Maria and Ozil will be the easier to conclude, with Benzema understood to be reluctant to leave the Bernabeu.

Law will look to conclude moves for Newcastle midfielder Yohan Cabaye and Valencia goalkeeper Vicente Guaita before next week's transfer deadline after having bids rejected last week.

Arsenal are also watching Juan Mata's situation at Chelsea. The Gunners, though, are set to shelve plans to find a new defender after Bacary Sagna's strong displays at centre back.

All smiles: Arsenal's Santi Cazorla shares a joke

Wenger had identified a new central defender as a priority, but Sagna's performances, Thomas Vermaelen's pending return to fitness and the imminent capture of Flamini mean the club are no longer seeking a new defender.

Confirming their position in the Champions League group stages tonight will help the club land their preferred targets this week.

Taking a 3-0 advantage into the second-leg qualifier at the Emirates against Fenerbahce should mean Arsenal, barring a mass capitulation, are as good as in Thursday's draw in Nyon.

But, even with their place among the continent's elite virtually assured, Wenger insists the club will not spend recklessly. ‘The key word is the right additions,' he said. ‘We need players with attitude and focus; the mental aspect in the modern game is vital.'

Arsenal chief negotiator arrives ahead of transfer D-Day | Mail Online

Look here, Wenger saying that we want to sign special players and yet the only signing is SANOGO does not make sense or help us at all given the current situation we are in. I watched him (Sa No Go) yesterday, albeit for a mere 30 minute display and I nearly cried. I am not downplaying the prospect of Sanogo in the future, he MIGHT become a better player, just MIGHT. Alex Song was awful during his debut days, one day he was substituted at half time because of how awful he palyed and everyone booed him off to the tunnel and we thought that was it for him at Arsenal but he came back and became a key player but only after YEARS of development and that is one amongst the few who made it. We have had a lot of 'deadwood' recently who are a product of us signing players on a free or at the cheapest price because we believe we will develop them into better players (And I think we did that due to financial strains which are not there anymore so why pull the strings now?). Meanwhile, we are are in a situation where we NEED players who are ready to deliver NOW not prospects or anything like that. We need to be a threat and that should start with our team sheet. As soon as the opposition see, lets say, Suarez starting upfront, Di Maria on the wing and Higuain on the bench, they know they are in for a massive game. But seeing Sanogo and Frimpong on the bench does not scare the sh*t out of anyone (Sadly). By the way, did you see Cazorla's face when Sanogo shot for the skies when he passed to him? He was like, "Man, WTF?" Yes, because he needs better players to finish off the chances he creates. With that said, we have 4-5 days (Sunday does not count and the WINDOW closes on Monday 2nd of September) to set things straight.

Note that: We have 12 outfield players at our dispose. I am not counting the likes of Sanogo and Frimpong because, you know why. The rest are out injured. And even if they were all fit, the squad lacks depth. 4-5 days Arsene, 4-5. *sigh*

The problem ni kwamba kila siku tunaskia tu kuhusu rumours halaf za wachezaji kibao almost kikos kabisa ambao wamekuwa wakiwaniwa na Arsenal hebu tuangalie list ya wachezaji; J.Cesar, uchida, Jovetic, Higuan, gustavo, cabaye, kngobia, clement greiner, luis suarez, angel Di maria, benzema, ozil halafu katika hao no one has been signed except the free player yaya sanogo na siku ndio zimeka almost 5 kufikia dead line day mwisho wa siku si ndio kitatokea kile kinachoitwa panic Signing. Anyway sijui wenger ana mpango gani ngoja tuendelee kuvuta subira til deadline day maybe kuna lolote laweza kutokea.
