Well the population voted for him (Kibaki) the first time, no? Also what makes you think the new elected leader (Odinga) is any better? If he turns out to be just another African despot (as the odds suggest) what would you say then? Ultimately we have to blame the population.
The Truth,
Understand what people are fighting for in Kenya is a system that
works...a system that is free of manipulation as is the case right now.
You are right that people voted Kibaki in 02 lakini jamaa
hakudeliver and this time around wakataka a different individual...Raila Odinga.
Kama Raila hatoweza, atapigiwa kura mtu mwengine.Thats what its about.
The population(read majority) did not vote for Kibaki na kwa hivyo they cannot
be blamed. The guy eho manipulated the system for whatever reasons,
bears the responsibility of whatever the
outcome of this debacle.
Chukua mfano wa Zimbabwe. If Mugabe claims victory by saying he won in a free and a fair election itakuaje? Are we going to blame the people therein?Ndugu yangu in Africa the political systems dont work as they are supposed to and even if they do, they are open to blatant manipulation.Hii biashara ya kusema..."aah bwana sisi wabongo/waafrika ndivyo tulivyo" needs to be looked at again.Thats my word.
Asanteni.
