US Election Coverage 2008

US Election Coverage 2008

I was being sarcastic about the photo. I do believe though that Obama is just keeping Rev. Wright away for now until he gets elected president (if that happens). As soon as he wins the election Rev. Wright will be brought back as his "spiritual advisor". I don't believe for a second that Obama does not believe or agree with Rev. Wright hateful ideas. He sat in his church for all those years and the two were close. Obama just like Rev. Wright hates Whites which explains why he is hell bent on redistributing their wealth.

bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Wellcome back! Phew ....Sorry for disruption ... ... action taken.

Hahahahaaa...nilijua mtakuja na hiyo ya eti alipewa maswali ahead of time.....that's so lame of you Obamamaniacs...but then again I wouldn't expect anything less or more from you all....lame...lame...lame....

babu alipata desa huo ndio ukweli wenyewe

NBC’s Andrea Mitchell said on “Meet the Press” yesterday, when she questioned whether McCain may have known about some of the questions at the faith forum Saturday night ahead of time. John McCain was supposed to be held in a so-called “cone of silence” during Barack Obama’s interview, which happened first. But it turns out McCain was in his motorcade on the way to Rick Warren’s church during the interview.

JE HATA KAMA HAKUWA NA DESA ILA WASAIDIZI WAKE WALISIKIA NA KUMPA MASWALI, THE WHOLE FORUM WAS UNFAIR TO THE NEXT PRESIDENT "OBAMA".

People should really check out the Communist Manifesto by Karl Marx and Frederick Engels to understand where Obama is getting his ideas. Barack Husein Obama is a communist no questions about it.

Hey Mdosi boy Raj Patel, let not your heart be troubled. Barack of Obama will not win. If you happened to watch Rick Warren's forum on Saturday you will know what to expect when they actually debate. So don't worry.

Yaani we unafurahi hivyo kwa sababu ya forum? Ama kweli you are grasping at straws, na ushabiki umekufumba macho, babu yako did not do spectacularly kama unavyodhani, lakini as we have agreed to disagree, ngoja hiyo Nov 4!
Lakini now it is CONFIRMED!!! MCCAIN WAS NOT IN CONE OF SILENCE... so it means he could have cheated and remember America hates cheaters!! McCain and his campaign will have a difficult time to prove that he did not cheat.
Last night, John McCain's campaign manager Rick Davis sent a strongly-worded letter to NBC News president Steve Capus, complaining about "unsubstantiated, partisan claims" on the network made "in order to undercut John McCain."

The claim in question was made by Andrea Mitchell on yesterday's broadcast of "Meet the Press," while discussing McCain and Obama's respective performances during the Saddlebeck Forum on Faith led by Pastor Rick Warren. The full quote is as follows:

MITCHELL: The Obama people must feel that he didn't do quite as well as they might have wanted to in that context, because that — what they're putting out privately is that McCain may not have been in the cone of silence and may have had some ability to overhear what the questions were to Obama.... He seemed so well-prepared.

In the letter, reprinted by Mike Allen of Politico, Davis claimed that the claim was "completely unsubstantiated" and a "blatant falsehood."

However, the New York Times' Kit Seelye has boldly backed up Mitchell's claim in today's story, "Despite Assurances, McCain Wasn't in a 'Cone of Silence'." Per Seelye:

Senator John McCain was not in a "cone of silence" on Saturday night while his rival, Senator Barack Obama, was being interviewed at the Saddleback Church in California... The matter is of interest because Mr. McCain, who followed Mr. Obama's hourlong appearance in the forum, was asked virtually the same questions as Mr. Obama. Mr. McCain's performance was well received, raising speculation among some viewers, especially supporters of Mr. Obama, that he was not as isolated during the Obama interview as Mr. Warren implied.

(snip)

Mr. Warren, the pastor of Saddleback, had assured the audience while he was interviewing Mr. Obama that "we have safely placed Senator McCain in a cone of silence" and that he could not hear the questions... Interviewed Sunday on CNN, Mr. Warren seemed surprised to learn that Mr. McCain was not in the building during the Obama interview.

This corroborates Mitchell's report, which was "McCain may not have been in the cone of silence" (he wasn't, at least not for the duration) and "may have some ability to overhear" the question (unclear, but if the purpose of the 'cone of silence' is to guard against that, then presumably being outside it might have afforded that opportunity.

But even without Seelye, Mitchell was corroborated...by Davis. He wrote, "The fact is that during Senator Obama's segment at Saddleback last night, Senator McCain was in a motorcade to the event and then held in a green room with no broadcast feed." That means that he was not in the cone of silence during the Obama questioning, confirming Mitchell's report.

The issue, of course, isn't whether or not he cheated, but whether he could have cheated. The cone of silence was meant to ensure that the second candidate had no possible advantage over the first. It is a time-honored tradition, from its coinage on TV show Get Smart to a reference on Everybody Loves Raymond to numerous game shows through history.

McCain spokeswoman Nicolle Wallace, told the NYT that McCain had not heard the broadcast while in the motorcade, nor had he any of the questions. That neatly accounts for just one way McCain might have learned the content of the questions; the event was being broadcast live, and presumably his aides have Blackberries. Coaching could have taken place without McCain hearing anything directly from the broadcast at all.

This is not meant to make the claim that McCain received information relating to Warren's questions to Obama, just that he could have done, since the constraints of the cone of silence were not in effect. Those constraints were pointedly put in place by Pastor Warren to provide an excplicit safeguard of fairness, and it was reported to the audience as such. The fact that such a safeguard might not have been universally applied is a relevant fact, one which Mitchell reported dispassionately, citing the source (the Obama campaign), providing caveats ("may have") and providing the context (that McCain had performed very well). Today, Kit Seelye and the NYT back that up.
Babu kajiumbua... si wangekaa tu kimya kama mtu ukishadesa unajikausha!! Kwikwikwi

Haya Stepford wife wa Babu yake Nyani naye ameanza kuonekana mwongo! Mbona kazi ipo na familia hii. Kwanza divorce kibao, naona father-in law wa Babu katenda kama son-in-law wake John alivofanya, ameanza relationship while married, alafu amedivorce then ran as fast as he could away from his first wife! Haya story ya familia ya CIndy Mccain inaonyesha ya kuwa Cindy amemkana ndugu yake!

Last Tuesday, NPR broadcast a story about Cindy McCain's business and charity work. In it, Ted Robbins described McCain as the only child of Jim Hensley, a wealthy Arizona businessman. The next morning, NPR received an e-mail from Nicholas Portalski of Phoenix, who heard the story with his mother.

"We were listening to the piece about Cindy McCain on NPR, All Things Considered, and it just struck us very hard," Portalski said.

His mother, Kathleen Hensley Portalski, is also Hensley's daughter.

The Portalski family is accustomed to hearing Cindy McCain described as Hensley's only child.

She's been described that way by news organizations from The New Yorker and The New York Times to Newsweek and ABC.

McCain herself routinely uses the phrase "only child," as she did on CNN last month. "I grew up with my dad," she said then. "I'm an only child. My father was a cowboy, and he really loved me very much, but I think he wanted a son occasionally."

McCain's father was also a businessman — and twice a father.

"I'm upset," Kathleen Portalski says. "I'm angry. It makes me feel like a nonperson, kind of."

Who Is Kathleen Hensley Portalski?

Documents show Kathleen Anne Hensley was born to Jim and Mary Jeanne Hensley on Feb. 23, 1943. They had been married for six years when Kathleen was born.
Jim Hensley was a bombardier on a B-17, flying over Europe during World War II.

He was injured and sent to a facility in West Virginia to recuperate. During that time, while still married to Mary Jeanne, Hensley met another woman — Marguerite Smith. Jim divorced Mary Jeanne and married Marguerite in 1945.

Cindy Lou Hensley was born nine years later, in 1954.

She may have grown up as an only child, but so did her half sister, Kathleen, who was raised by a single parent.
Portalski says she did see her father and her half sister from time to time.

"I saw him a few times a year," she says. "I saw him at Christmas and birthdays, and he provided money for school clothes, and he called occasionally."

Jim Hensley also provided credit cards and college tuition for his grandchildren, as well as $10,000 gifts to Kathleen and her husband, Stanley Portalski. That lasted a decade, they say. By then, Jim Hensley had built Hensley and Co. into one of the largest beer distributorships in the country. He was worth tens, if not hundreds, of millions of dollars.

Sole Inheritor To Hensley's Estate

When Hensley died in 2000, his will named not only Portalski but also a daughter of his wife Marguerite from her earlier marriage. So, Cindy McCain may be the only product of Jim and Marguerite's marriage, but she is not the only child of either.
She was, however, the sole inheritor of his considerable estate.

Kathleen Portalski was left $10,000, and her children were left nothing. It's a fact Nicholas Portalski says his sister discovered the hard way.

"What she found in town — on the day of or the day before or the day after his funeral — was that the credit card didn't work anymore," Nick says.

Naona sasa potential VP wa Babu yake Nyani ambaye ni kipenzi chake Truth - Mr Exorcist aka Jindal ameanza kutupa full picture what a VP he will - reminds me of Dan Quayle!! Kwikwikwi

This morning on NBC’s Meet the Press, host David Gregory asserted that the Republican Party “used to be the party of big ideas.” Gregory then asked his guest Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal (R-LA), “What’s the big idea Senator McCain is campaigning on?” Jindal responded, “I think there’s several,” but couldn’t provide an answer. Gregory asked again, “Where are the new big ideas of the Republican Party that John McCain is, is championing?” And again Jindal couldn’t provide an answer.

BUt he is not alone in this, most of Babu's supporters cannot think of any big ideas from mzee wa Makopo:

Jindal is just the latest McCain surrogate to be stumped when asked to defend McCain’s policies. Earlier this month, former Gov. Mitt Romney (R-MA) couldn’t name a single McCain accomplishment on energy in his long congressional career. Similarly, Gov. Mark Sanford (R-SC) recently drew a blank when asked to name a major economic policy that Bush and McCain do not agree on.

What's so funny? You believe I truly thought the man in the picture with Barack Obama was really Rev. Right because blacks look alike?

nimekucheka ujinga wako bwahahahaha, I don't care nini ulikuwa unafikiri...kitendo cha ku-post ile kitu kwa dizaini ile, tells a story about you!! OK home boy? yes, it was funny hahaha.

Obama is now confused and McCain has taken the lead in the polls....

wrong!!! McCaine kapunguza gap...poll of polls inaonyesha yupo point moja behind while polls mojamoja zinaonyesha Obama anaongoza points 2, 3 mpaka tano tegemea na poll unayoangalia!!!.

sijui unanufaika vipi kwa kusema ulongo kama huo!! watu wengine bwana....

Nyani, Babu yako ana matatizo ya memory, sasa hakumbuki ana nyumba ngapi
John McCain said in an interview with Politico on Wednesday "that he was uncertain how many houses he and his wife, Cindy, own."

"I think -- I'll have my staff get to you," McCain said. "It's condominiums where -- I'll have them get to you."

The answer, according to the group Progressive Accountability, is an even 10 homes, ranches, condos, and lofts, together worth a combined estimated $13,823,269.

John and Cindy McCain own a plethora of houses spread throughout the United States, including: two beachfront condos in Coronado, California, condo in La Jolla, California, a two-unit condominium complex in Phoenix, Arizona, three ranch houses located outside of Sedona, Arizona, a high-rise condo in Arlington, Virginia, a rental loft, and, according to GQ, a loft they bought for their daughter, Meghan.
As Politico notes, McCain's comments are a serious potential gaffe, as they dovetail with an increasingly aggressive effort to paint the GOP nominee as wildly out of touch on economic issues.
Sasa wanajaribu kumuingiza Rezko, waambie Nyani hata Bibi yako illary alifeli katika hili, wangeacha tu wajaribu kumpa Babu memory exercises, they help!!!!

Nyani hii McCain family ina matatizo, sasa Cindy ameanza kubadili stori na kuleta Liar! Liar! Sniper Fire ya Hillary akidai eti mother Teresa alimconvince to adopt their daughter.
As was pointed out yesterday by the Christian Science Monitor, the McCain campaign was called out for lying about the purported urging of Cindy McCain by Mother Teresa herself to adopt two children at her orphanage back in 1991. Turns out, McCain never met or even spoke with Mother Teresa on that trip.

Once confronted by the Monitor about the deception, the campaign quickly erased such claims from the website, as it did with Cindy's family recipes, which were proved to be lifted from the Food Network.

But after doing some research, this deception was no careless accident, but rather another shameless and deliberate attempt by the campaign to reinvent and embellish the McCain family history in time for his 2008 presidential bid.

Vanity Fair (November 2004, The Trashing of John McCain):

In 1991, when Cindy McCain was on a relief mission to Bangladesh, she was asked by one of Mother Teresa's nuns to help a young orphan with a cleft palate. Flying her to the U.S. for surgery, Cindy realized she couldn't give her up. At the Phoenix airport, she broke it to her husband, and they eventually adopted the child. But few people knew that story. In the words of McCain's national campaign manager, Rick Davis, a smear doesn't have "to be true to be effective."

Now see how the story changed at the beginning of 2008:

The Sunday Mail (Feb. 3, 2008, Dark past no barrier for Cindy):

``While working at Mother Teresa's orphanage in the early 1990s, I stumbled upon the most beautiful little girl I'd ever seen,'' she said. ``She had a terrible cleft palate. She had problems with her feet. She had problems with her hands. She had all kinds of problems.

``As only Mother Teresa can, she prevailed upon me to take this baby and another baby to the United States for medical care.''

That's bad news my friend, bad news. Angalia idadi ya undecideds. Hivi unataka kunambia kweli mpaka kuna mtu yuko undecided? Wewe kalagabaho.....

Nyani hizi polls ni accumulation ya vacation ya Obama, when he was out of the picture na babu alipewa muda (AGAIN) to do something meaningful, I am awaiting the result of the polls next week after a collection of gaffes this week!! There's Mother Theresa gate, House gate and Draft gate.
Nyani, Babu ungeachana naye.....

We welcome this house debate if y'all ain't got nothing else to talk about. The Obama campaign is in panic mode right now. They don't know what to do.

Didn't Obama buy a million dollar (sweet deal) home in 2005 that was facilitated by his slum lord buddy Tony Rezko? Bring it on.....

How many houses does Kennedy have? John Kerry and his wife? Jeremiah Wright? Hahahahaa....bring it on
