True, but there is a threshold of intelligence a president should not go under. Obama is below that threshold. Case in point, there is a full-blown war going on in Georgia right now and we have heard nothing from the future "leader of the civilized world" i.e. Obama. Vacation or not there are matters of more importance. He is either afraid to comment on the conflict because he will say something stupid that will be exploited politically by McCain, or he is simply a do nothing, say nothing leader.

The picture of Obama walking down the beach reminds me of my days growing up in Tanzania and our old garden boy, Masudi. If I was in Hawaii and saw Obama I probably would have yelled out the name Masudi. Masudi used to dress in a manner similar to Obama in those pictures i.e. pair of shorts, t-shirt, flip-flops and a cap on and he would walk around whistling.
