Hizi picha ni ushahidi kuwa tuna tatizo kubwa la kiuongozi,kwasababu hata issue ndogo tu ya kujuwa namna ya kujirepresent kutegemeana na tukio ikikushinda ni kivipi utaweza issue nzito zenye kuhitaji kufikiri zaidi?
Najiuliza alishindwa vipi kuona hata hili?
Rais asiyejuwa anatakiwa avae nini na wakati gani atajuwa vipi cha kuwaamulia wananchi kwa niaba yao?
Charity begins at home na sijui rais anaonyesha mfano gani kwa wananchi wake,kweli hii kali.....Seriously tuna tatizo kubwa....Jamaa inawezekana anapendelea ufalme zaidi.

what is wrong? one of them is seen to be out of touch with his people, some have even considered him to have been a dictator of sort; the other is liked by a lot of people to the point of being considered a president for life if they have their way.

Kikwete anaonyesha VITENDO kwa MIFANO kama sinema za maigizo ambapo mtu hu-act kama amekufa au anaruka toka ghorofa ya kumi na kutua juu ya gari na kuanza kuliendesha kwa kasi

Nyerere na Jakaya wametawala katika vipindi tofauti sana,wakati wa Nyerere maendeleo hayakuwa ya kiasi kikubwa kama ilivyo sasa.Kuna uwezekano mkubwa Baada ya kupanda huo mti Jakaya alitakiwa kwenda sehemu nyingine kuudhulia ama kuzindua au hata mkutano wakati huo huo unlike Nyerere kwa wakati huo

Hii ndiyo maana halisi ya kuwaongoza watu kwa mfano na sio anachofanya Kikwete sasa.

Mwalimu alimaanisha kile alichokisema kwa kukifanya toka moyoni mwake.Mkuu wa sasa ni msanii anafanya vitu ili watu wamuone na wamwagie sifa,hii ni aibu hata kwa Taifa.

Yeah, nostalgia. Nyerere's was another era. Amid all his shortfalls, you couldn't fault him for his genuine desire for his people's development. He dreamed it; he lived it. Strategically though, he was undercut by the very evil forces at work in the real world.

When I look closely at the pictures, I am more drawn to the characters around him and cannot help noticing some amused looks and even smirks on some faces. I am wondering if, at all, all those chaps really understood Mwalimu and his mission or were just tagging along waiting for the man's exit so that they can get down to the real business of helping themselves to the spoils of independence.

How else do we explain the rush to dismantle his legacy and turn upside down all that he cherished the moment he left office by the very people who were close to him in his heydays? Including some for whom he even sacrificed his reputation to ensure their ascendacy to the highest office?

There is heavy nostalgia for Mwalimu these days (usia wa baba, etc.) but (we) Tanzanians need to get real, shed hippocrisy and act seriously if we really need to re-experience that legacy. We cannot continue to uphold conditions that favour/reward corruption, injustice and downright abuse of state power, yet wish for those good old days.

This is how Mwalimu explained that rush just before he died:

Tanzania had been independent for a short time before we began to see a growing gap between the haves and the have-nots in our country. A privileged group was emerging from the political leaders and bureaucrats who had been poor under colonial rule but were now beginning to use their positions in the Party and the Government to enrich themselves. This kind of development would alienate the leadership from the people. So we articulated a new national objective: we stressed that development is about all our people and not just a small and privileged minority...However, despite this achievement, they say we failed in Tanzania, that we floundered. But did we? We must say no. We can't deny everything we accomplished. There are some of my friends who we did not allow to get rich; now they are getting rich and they say `See, we are getting rich now, so you were wrong'. But what kind of answer is that?

Mkuu, Hebu angalia hiyo picha vizuri zaidi utajionea kuna uwezekano kuwa jamaa alianza kuwekewa mchanga mweupe pale chini ambao ni rahisi kuufuta tu na kuelekea kwenye huo mkutano lakini naona aliagiza mkeka! Aliyeuleta mchanga wa bahari pale alikasirika kweli juhudi yake yote aisee?
