Yes, shame on you because you are so mean to the point of violating human rights. Your country claims to be champions of human right in the world, but you here in Tanzania act insanely and contrary to what the US claims to be; shame on you!
Guys, I know you're still wondering over what went wrong with the US Embassy. Let me tell you the story that aroused my anger. This evening I have been informed that the US Embassy has denied a US visa to a 16 years old girl; yes, a 16 years old girl! She applied for a visa to go join her family (both parents and siblings) in the US (her father is in school there). She was denied by the claim that it seems her father wants to take all his relatives to the US, which is not true because he only has taken his immediate family (wife & children). It doesn't make sense to call "relatives" someone's immediate family
How can you deny a "totally" depend child to join her family?? I don't get it! Is being with her family not her right? Is denying her that right not a violation of human rights? How can you act like that to an underage child? I say it again, shame, shame, shame on you US embassy.
My take:
US Embassy: Do you know how you're affecting, emotionally, socially, psychologically, this young girl's future by keeping her separated from her family? How would you feel if someone does that to your own child?
Do unto others what you would want them to do to you.
