The 49-year-old singer teased the song through a one-minute video shared on Instagram from Brazil’s famous Maracana Stadium. The track, which also features Nigerian Afrobeats star Burna Boy, is expected to be officially released on May 14.
This marks Shakira’s return to the World Cup stage after her iconic 2010 anthem Waka Waka (This Time for Africa), which became one of the tournament’s most celebrated songs. She also performed La La La (Brazil 2014) during the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
