Yani mtu hujakaa naye, hujamuuliza anataka nini, lakini unakuwa unalazimisha tu kuwa huyu lazima atakuwa anafikiri kama mimi.

Siku akipata nafasi ya kufunguka na kukueleza kwamba yeye hafikirii kama wewe, unaumia, unamtukana, unamsema huyu msaliti.

Nimeliona hili sana Peter Madeleka alivyoondoka CHADEMA na kwenda ACT. Kuna watu wamemsema kama vile walikubaliana naye afe mwanachama wa CHADEMA.

Fatma Karume kasema yeye msimamo wake siku zote ni kushiriki kwenye uchaguzi. Aliishauri ACT takriban miaka 10 iliyopita kushiriki kwenye uchaguzi. Hiyo ilikuwa kabla ya No Reforms No Election. Na hata leo anaendelea na msimamo wake huo huo.

Sasa kuna watu wasiomjua wanasema siku hizi kabadilika, wakati yeye anasema huu ndio msimamo wake na kashautoa takriban miaka 10 iliyopita huko.

Watu wengine wanapenda sana kulazimisha kila mtu afikirie kama wao.
Na ww nawe unaigizwa mjini kirahisi, miaka 10 ndio umri wa ACT, ni lini kulikuwa na hali ya wao kukataa kushiriki uchaguzi wakati walikuwa wachanga?
 
Hivi karibuni, Fatma Karume ameonekana kubadili mwelekeo wa mijadala yake ya kisiasa kwa namna ambayo imeibua maswali miongoni mwa watanzania, hasa wale wanaoamini katika harakati za mageuzi ya kweli.

Mwanzo, alivamia vikali kauli za Askofu Gwajima aliyekuwa anapinga matukio ya utekaji na ukiukwaji wa haki unaodaiwa kufanywa na vyombo vya dola, akimtuhumu kuwa anatafuta "attention" ya kisiasa, licha ya kwamba hoja za Gwajima zilikuwa na uzito wa kulinda utu na uhuru wa raia.

Sasa, ameibukia tena kwenye mtandao wa X (zamani Twitter), akizibeza juhudi za CHADEMA na sera yao ya "No Reforms, No Elections", akikariri kuwa kusitisha uchaguzi ni kosa la jinai. Kauli hii imechukuliwa na wengi kama kejeli isiyoakisi hali halisi ya mazingira ya kisiasa nchini, ambapo haki za msingi, uhuru wa kisiasa na uhuru wa kutoa maoni vinaendelea kukandamizwa.

Cha kushangaza zaidi, kauli hizi za Fatma Karume zinatolewa wakati ambapo Tundu Lissu, mmoja wa viongozi wa upinzani na mwanasheria mwenzake, yuko rumande akikabiliwa na mashtaka ya uhaini, ambayo kisheria adhabu yake ni kunyongwa hadi kufa. Hali hii imezidi kuzua maswali: je, Fatma Karume bado yupo upande wa watetezi wa haki, au amebadili msimamo kwa sababu ambazo bado hazijafahamika wazi?

Ikumbukwe kuwa katika utawala wa Hayati John Magufuli, Fatma Karume alijitokeza kuwa mmoja wa sauti thabiti zilizokuwa zikikemea dhuluma, ukandamizaji, na matumizi mabaya ya madaraka. Lakini katika utawala wa sasa, ambao nao umeonesha mwelekeo wa kukiuka misingi ya demokrasia, sauti yake imekuwa ya mashaka, wakati mwingine ikisikika kama ya kukubaliabiana na mfumo badala ya kuukosoa.
Je, ni mabadiliko ya kiitikadi? Ni mkakati wa kisiasa? Au kuna mambo ya ndani zaidi ambayo bado hayajawekwa wazi kwa umma? Kwa vyovyote vile, hatua na kauli za Fatma Karume zinahitaji tafakari, hasa kwa wale wanaoamini katika dhana ya "principled activism" yaani, kupigania haki bila kujali nani yuko madarakani.
KUna uzi ulisema anapewa jimbo moja wapo so ni amefikia bei ni wakupuuza.

She is even sympathetic towards Samia.

Saying.

"I think it’s sad times for Samia. People who believed in her feel betrayed by her. She’s lost even her ardent allies.
She’s checkmated herself by isolating real friends in pursuit of power.
I feel sorry for her."
Does this not diminish her credibility as a principled activist, as she claims to be? Yes, she critiques the pillars of the state the Executive, the Judiciary, and the Legislature and she speaks out against individuals. But when it comes to Samia, she suddenly becomes emotional, sad, and sympathetic. Today it’s Samia, tomorrow, it could be a relative, a friend, or someone she has personal ties to and she would likely react with the same sentimentality, driven more by personal attachments than by principle.Yet when it’s Magufuli or Kiranga, her so called commitment to human rights becomes sharply defined, and her tone turns bitter at the slightest violation. This inconsistency exposes a troubling double standard. And when it comes to her stance on election participation, in the current political context of Tanzania, that position has become completely irrelevant. Over the past decade, electoral processes have been plagued by serious flaws. Even those who now oppose the current system once held the same position she defends, but times have changed, and these outdated stances need to evolve. One cannot cling to a misguided principle from the past when the circumstances demand reform.All of this points to one conclusion, she is not as principled as she portrays herself. Like many others, she is simply an opportunist, using the political platform for show, with no real substance behind the performance.

Kweli na watu wanapojaribu kuzungumza mambo haha ya msingi, ghafla wengine huibua hoja za udini, jinsia, CHADEMA, au suala la Uzanzibari. Wakati huo huo taifa linazama na watu wanafanya mzaha. Hapa tunazungumzia maslahi ya nchi si ya chama, dini, wala jinsia.

Kweli na watu wanapojaribu kuzungumza mambo haha ya msingi, ghafla wengine huibua hoja za udini, jinsia, CHADEMA, au suala la Uzanzibari. Wakati huo huo taifa linazama na watu wanafanya mzaha. Hapa tunazungumzia maslahi ya nchi si ya chama, dini, wala jinsia.
Uko sahihi hao wote wako chini ya Rais Mstaafu anawaendesha vile anataka kwa maslahi yake na uzao wake.
 
No reforms no election sio solution ya mapungufu ya sheria ya uchaguzi. Fatma yuko sahihi. Huwezi kuzuia watu wanaotaka kushiriki uchaguzi, that is illegal. Ila unaweza kususa wewe mwenyewe, that is personal choice. Ili kususa kuathiri credibility ya uchaguzi, inabidi wanaosusa wawe wengi kwa mbali sana kulinganisha na wanaoshiriki uchaguzi. Hapo ndipo anapisema Fatma kuwa Chadema haina hizo numbers.
Fatma amejuaje kuhusu hizo numbers, wakati hata daftari la wapiga kura idadi ni ya kupika? Hadi sasa sijasikia waliojiandikisha kupiga kura kwenye uchaguzi huu ni wangapi. Lakini najua walisema waliojiandikisha uchaguzi wa SM za mitaa ni 30m+, jambo ambalo halikuwa kweli hata kidogo.
