Martial's good form continued with the French national team Manchester United striker Anthony Martial's excellent form continued as he was named man of the match on his full France debut in their 2-1 friendly win at Denmark.
Martial, who won his first cap last month as a substitute in Portugal, assisted Olivier Giroud's fourth-minute opener in the Euro 2016 hosts' 2-1 victory.
And the 19-year-old came close to a first international goal in the 63rd minute, when he burst past two Danish players and forced Kasper Schmeichel into making an alert save.
Martial wasted an inviting opening later on, as he blazed the ball over the crossbar, before he was substituted in the 87th minute on an otherwise encouraging evening.
A regular centre forward under Louis van Gaal, Martial started on the left flank for France in a 4-3-3 formation with Arsenal striker Giroud, who scored both of Les Bleus' goals, and the Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann.

Holland coach Danny Blind has been forced to play down a reported training ground spat between Memphis Depay and Robin van Persie.
There are reports in De Telegraaf that the pair were involved in a disagreement during a training session before Holland's 2-1 win over Kazakhstan on Saturday.
Blind, father of Manchester United defender Daley, admitted there had been an altercation but insisted it had been blown out of proportion.

JS73732295.jpg
He said: "It was a discussion during a training about a ball that should have been given over. Things like that happen often.
"There are sometimes situations in training where players think differently. That's what happened and then it was over."
Holland are on the verge of crashing out of the Euros before next summer's finals after a dismal qualifying campaign.

Iceland and the Czech Republic have already qualified from Group A while Turkey need just a point against Iceland in the final round of fixtures on Tuesday night to secure third place and a spot in the play-offs. Holland play the Czech Republic at home.
If they fail to qualify for Euro 2016 it will be the first time they've missed out on a major tournament since the 2002 World Cup in Japan and South Korea.

It was October 1937 when Manchester United last named a match-day squad that didn't include one of their own academy graduates.
It's a run stretching 3,757 games, the latest coming at Arsenal when Paddy McNair and James Wilson were named on the bench.
Most of United's youth team players never make the grade at Old Trafford and many instead go on to have careers away from Old Trafford.
Others, like Tom Cleverley, Danny Welbeck and Kieran Richardson, break into the team but are then moved on because the standards at United set are so high.
A select few, like Sir Bobby Charlton, Ryan Giggs, David Beckham and Paul Scholes, become stars who are among the best players in the world.
But who are the players next in line to follow Wilson, McNair, Adnan Januzaj, Andreas Pereira and Jesse Lingard and make the step up? And which category do they fall into?
Scroll down to have your say on who are the best prospects in United's academy.

[h=1]Sam Johnstone[/h] The 22-year-old goalkeeper has been on the bench for the first team this season after an encouraging pre-season tour of the United States. But he's been pushed back down the pecking order by the reintroduction of David De Gea and the arrival of Sergio Romero. Capped at England Under-20 level, he's had six loan spells away from Old Trafford but is yet to make his competitive debut for United.

[h=1]Donald Love[/h] Donald Love trained with the first team during the summer and was unlucky not to go on the pre-season tour. The 20-year-old right-back has been back with the senior players this season but is yet to make his first-team debut. Love has been at the club since he was seven and has been capped at Scotland Under-21 level. He's been on loan at Wigan since the start of the month making one appearance so far.

[h=1]Axel Tuanzebe[/h] Axel Tuanzebe isn't 18 yet but has already made the step up to Warren Joyce's Under-21 side after winning the club's Young Player of the Year award last season. The central defender was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo but grew up in Rochdale and has been at Old Trafford for nearly 10 years already.

[h=1]Timothy Fosu-Mensah[/h] The 17-year-old centre-back only arrived at Old Trafford from Ajax last summer but has already forced his way into the Under-21 team. He played most of last season for Paul McGuinness' Under-18s but played 78 minutes in the reserves' last outing against Everton. He came to England as a central defender but has been used in midfield at times for United as the academy staff try to help him improve on the ball.

[h=1]Regan Poole[/h] Regan Poole joined United on deadline day from Newport County, where he had become their youngest player after making his debut as a 16-year-old. The Welsh defender, who turned 17 in the summer, made 16 first-team appearances for Newport before joining United's academy.

[h=1]Callum Gribbin[/h] Still only 16, Callum Gribbin had Under-19s coach Nicky Butt raving about him after United's 3-0 UEFA Youth League win over PSV Eindhoven last month. He's rated so highly at Old Trafford that, despite still being a schoolboy, he was handed a chance against Manchester City's Under-21s at the end of last season. He was also invited to train with the first-team during the summer before the seniors went on their pre-season tour.

[h=1]Sean Goss[/h] Sean Goss was the surprise name in Louis van Gaal's tour squad - especially because the Dutchman wasn't short of options in midfield after signing Bastian Schweinsteiger and Morgan Schneiderlin. He was given a watching brief in America but made his first-team debut as a substitute against Paris Saint-Germain in the final game. The 20-year-old, born in Germany and signed from Exeter in 2012, impressed Van Gaal with a goal in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Ajax last month.

[h=1]Ben Pearson[/h] The 20-year-old midfielder was United's young player of the year in 2013, the season before James Wilson won the same award. Born in Oldham and likened to Paul Scholes, he's been capped by England from Under-16 to Under-20 level. He spent the second half of last season on loan at Barnsley where he made 22 appearances. He's back on loan at Oakwell this season.

[h=1]Joe Rothwell[/h] A central midfielder who joined the club at six, he worked his way through the ranks to become a regular in the Under-21s last season. The 6ft 1in 20-year-old had a brief loan spell at Blackpool last season and has been capped by England Under-20s. He's played four times on loan at Barnsley this season alongside Pearson.

[h=1]Marcus Rashford[/h] Marcus Rashford was enjoying a fantastic start to the new season after scoring three goals in two games in the UEFA Youth League and making his debut for the reserves against Rochdale in the Lancashire Senior Cup. But the 17-year-old striker had a set-back on Saturday when he suffered an injury playing for the Under-18s against Sunderland.

[h=1]Ashley Fletcher[/h] A tall but agile striker, Ashley Fletcher, 20, has scored goals whether he's played for the Under-16s, Under-18s, Butt's Under-19s or the Under-21s. He's been a regular in Joyce's Under-21 squad this season and scored a hat-trick for the Under-21s against Rochdale last month. He was on the bench against Everton to make room for James Wilson.

[h=1]Demetri Mitchell[/h] The 18-year-old winger has starred for United's age group teams and at England youth level. He's already been included in Under-21 squads but injury problems, including one at the start of this season, have stopped him making the step up permanently.

[h=1]Manchester United: Why Memphis must listen to Ryan Giggs[/h]

It is a worn out Ryan Giggs anecdote having been recounted every time one of the United assistant manager's many milestones cropped up but it is probably one Louis van Gaal's number two might decide is worth retelling to Memphis Depay.
Possibly the young Dutchman has not yet heard the infamous tale from Giggs or on the grapevine about the time the teenage prodigy got cuffed across his head when Sir Alex Ferguson gatecrashed a party that Giggs was attending at Lee Sharpe's house.

GettyImages-2931941.jpg
The bash was broken up and Giggs was sent home by the United manager with the hair dryer on full blast.
Giggs still enjoyed the high life and as a great mate of colleague Paul Ince he'd go through the ridiculous clothes stage, and the choreographed goal celebrations, plus having so many cars the different driving postures had an affect on his hamstrings.

It was all part of the growing up stage in the spotlight as a football superstar.
Now it is reported that Giggs has taken United's £24m summer signing Memphis Depay to one side and had a word about the young Dutchman's profile.

Van-Gaal-and-Memphis.jpg
Photographs on the town, including one night out when he sported fake gold teeth, does not amount yet to a seriously bad crime sheet.
But when you are struggling to make an impact in the Premier League and are hauled off at half time for allegedly not tracking back and helping out an overrun defence at Arsenal then any unprofessional off-field tales or unfavourable picture galleries do not sit comfortably.

JS73347293.jpg
Giggs is the ideal mentor to keep Memphis in check and ensure the 21-year-old doesn't get a wild reputation whilst he is finding his feet at Old Trafford.
The fact was that while Fergie kept a close eye on Giggs in his embryonic years as a United first teamer, he also respected that by and large the winger was producing on the pitch.
As he amassed his record breaking appearances and became number one in Old Trafford's Hall of Fame Giggs was no hermit.

But when you are winning 13 Premier League titles, four FA Cups and two Champions League's for example then you are cut some slack.
Memphis was the Dutch League's Golden Boot winner for PSV Eindhoven last season but as Van Gaal predicted, "He is one of the biggest, highly talented boys of his age. But he shall notice that it is not so easy in the Premier League."
Memphis is learning that fast. He now needs to learn from Giggs just as quickly.

Manchester United defender Paddy McNair is an injury doubt for Saturday's trip to Everton after being kept in Finland overnight for assessment on an abdominal problem sustained on Northern Ireland duty.
The 20-year-old, who has made one substitute appearance this season, was injured in the 13th minute of Sunday's 1-1 draw against Finland but played on until the 51st before being replaced.

GettyImages-491877696.jpg
Northern Ireland have qualified for their first major tournament since 1986. He spent Sunday night in hospital and an Irish Football Association press officer confirmed on Monday that the player will remain in the Finnish capital for another night. The IFA doctor has stayed out with him.
The defender will now be a doubt for Saturday's trip to Everton.
United are already without long-term absentee Luke Shaw for the game at Goodison Park while there are doubts over the fitness of Marcos Rojo, who hasn't played since the 3-2 win over Southampton last month.
