Manchester United (Red Devils) | Special Thread

Yaani ile timu ya watu wafupi kwa kutuabisha. Ila siku zote kwenye familia lazima atakuwepo mzushi tu, Valencia waliwatuliza Everton, tukawazima City, ila jamaa wakaona watie doa tu, smh!

Ila nakumbuka last pre-season mlituotea kama wao hivyo hivyo, na sisi hatukuwa na timu, only regular alikuwa Bale. Ningependa kuamini mko kwenye reli, na mtaleta changamoto, but i know better. United ni kama kama jamaa anayewekeza sana kwenye fore-play, ila panapo-matter anachemka.

Hahaha, i'm just hating bana. Congrats!

herrera, Papupi what up!!

am gud Joh, dah nasoma comments tu za watu humu ndani maana hata game sijacheki, really am missing sme thing special.

Manchester United have signed Argentina international goalkeeper Sergio Romero on a three-year contract.
Romero, whose deal with United includes the option of a fourth year, moves on a free transfer from Italian side Sampdoria after his contract there ended.
He was previously signed by United manager Louis van Gaal for AZ Alkmaar in 2007 from Racing Club.

Romero has also turned out for AS Monaco and has won 62 caps for his country, playing in last year's World Cup final defeat to Germany in Brazil.
He has joined up with Van Gaal's squad for the last part of their pre-season tour of the United States and could play some part in Wednesday's final friendly there with Paris Saint-Germain.
Romero comes in as back-up for David de Gea as things stand but that could change in the future, with Sky sources understanding United are resigned to losing De Gea, either this summer or in 2016.

Romero played for Argentina in last year's World Cup final

Romero told the official Manchester United website: "I am absolutely delighted to join Manchester United. To play for the biggest club in the world is a dream come true for me.
"Louis van Gaal is a fantastic manager and I cannot wait to get started on this new and exciting challenge in my career."
Romero's recruitment comes as United remain in a stand-off with Madrid over their pursuit of De Gea.

Louis van Gaal has admitted there is a 'threat' David de Gea may join Real Madrid

The Spanish side have been long-time admirers of him but Sky sources understand United will only let him leave if Sergio Ramos comes the other way.
That appears unlikely at present given Ramos' recent appointment as captain and Real manager Rafael Benitez saying he is 100 per cent sure the defender will stay at the club.
But Van Gaal's move for Romero will fuel speculation over what happens next.

[h=2]With the threat that David de Gea is going to Real Madrid, we had to prepare our season.[/h] Louis van Gaal

He told Sky Sports News HQ: "With the threat that David de Gea is going to Real Madrid, we had to prepare our season.
"I think Sergio Romero can fulfil that because because you have to handle quickly what may happen with David de Gea. I think he is a very good choice.
"He is the Argentinian goalkeeper. He has international experience. I know him very good because I picked him when he was 19 years old to AZ Alkmaar, my former club.
"I know him. I also know his character so I hope he can have a contribution to our selection and I have confidence he can give that."

Manchester United provided some slick-and-quick football to beat Barcelona 3-1 in the pre-season friendly on Saturday. Here are 10 things we learned from that game:
1. Darmian is the real deal.
2. United's youngsters are fantastic - somebody tell Wenger.
3. We should sign that woodwork, LOL!
4. Awesome showing from Adnan Januzaj - hope it's the confidence booster he needs to have a great season.
5. Memphis Depay is a threatening presence on goal... and,
6. Depay & Rooney are forming a very formidable duo.
7. David De Gea playing once again for Manchester United after we'd said goodbye during the Arsenal game - wow!
8. Once again, Daley Blind is not a central defender - LVG, please listen. Glad Marcos Rojo is returning.
9. Who said Soccer cannot be fun? "Theatre of Jeans" - meaning The Levi Stadium. "Woodward, please sign the Woodwork." and "If DDG goes, can we please sign the Woodwork?" So many jokes.
10. Positive criticism seems to have done Blackett a world of good: he stepped up, he was strong and he assisted.
10.1 There is a lot of firepower from the midfield and strikers.
10.2 That was a strong starting XI even without Ander Herrera and Basti.
10.3 A win is good for the team's confidence.
10.4 Fellaini struggled playing deep - and almost conceded a penalty with the some cheap fouls and was easily dispossessed... With so much competition ahead, where is he best placed?
10.5 Here's like for like De Gea (Johnstone), Darmian (Valencia), Jones (McNair), Blind (Smalling), Shaw (Blackett); Schneiderlin (Herrera), Carrick (Fellaini); Mata (Lingard) Depay (Perreira), Young (Januzaj); Rooney (Wilson)
