Liverpool 'to offer Virgil van Dijk £50m new deal' to commit future to Anfield

Van Dijk has been instrumental in Liverpool's rise to dominance and club owners FSG are reportedly set to recognise his importance with a whopping five-year contract

Securing Van Dijk's future is being viewed as a priority, and the whopping deal would see his current wages of £120,000 per week rise to £150,000.

Van Dijk and his Liverpool teammates will reportedly receive a bonus of more than £4million for winning the Premier League title this season.

According to the publication, a bonus pot of over £4million will be shared among all those who have featured in Premier League fixtures this season, with the size of payments made to each player determined by their number of appearances throughout the season.

Ever-present Van Dijk will reportedly be eligible for a prize of around £150,000, which will be on top of standard win bonuses.

If Liverpool beat Chelsea in the 5th round of the FA Cup and progress to the Quarter-Finals then our game vs Crystal Palace on 21st March will be moved.
