In Tanzania students who complete their primary school (standard seven) and perform well in their PSLC NECTA exams are normally selected by TAMISEMI to join various secondary schools located in every ward all over the country to pursue their O-level education for four years.
Whereas in Kenya students who complete their primary school (standard eight) and perform well in their KCPE exams are normally selected by KNEC to join various secondary schools located in different counties all over the country to pursue their O-level education for four years.
