Position Summary:
To provide specialized support to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring they have equal access to the curriculum and opportunities for academic success Scope of Work:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ learning needs
- Develop Individualized Education Plans (lEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders
- Provide targeted intervention and support to students both in and out of the classroom
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to adapt and modify curriculum materials
- Monitor and track student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
- Provide professional development to staff on best practices for inclusive education
- Conduct assessments and develop lEPs for students.
- Provide direct support to students in accordance with needs.
- Collaborate with teachers to implement accommodations and modifications.
- Monitor student progress and communicate with parents and staff.
- Participate in professional development and team meetings.
- Degree in Special Education or related field.
- Certification for conducting psych-education assessments and access arrangements.
- Experience working with diverse learners.
