"You know, I believe in forgiveness. I believe in trying to work with people. It will be hard. It's going to be very difficult. I don't see this president-elect as a legitimate president," Lewis said when asked if he would "forge a relationship" with the president-elect.

When pressed on why he believes Trump's presidency is illegitimate, Lewis pointed to intelligence reports of Russian interference in the election.

"I think the Russians participated in helping this man get elected. And they helped destroy the candidacy of Hillary Clinton," Lewis said.

"I don't plan to attend the inauguration. It will be the first one that I miss since I've been in Congress," Lewis said. "You cannot be at home with something that you feel that is wrong, is not right."

Uzuri wa Marekani ni kwamba vikao vyote vinavyoendelea kuwajadili na baadaye kuwapitisha, rekodi zake ziko wazi kwa wananchi wote. Swali ni je baada ya kupitishwa na vyombo husika watakuwa watiifu kwa Trump au Katiba ya Marekani...tusubiri.

Congressman John Lewis's statements are more subjective rather than objective and should be ignored. He even embarrassed himself testifying against Sen. Sessions. But, that's what happens when someone doesn't get it especially snowflake liberals.

Sir, when I said Hillary had 96% chance of winning on ELECTION DAY, it is pretty clear the 'hacking effect' had been taken into account, which then nullifies the 'illegitimacy' theory promoted by Rep. Lewis and currently supported by you. So, I think it was fair to bring her up.

Here in Tanzania, something similar is happening...try to criticize Magufuli in any way and people like El Jefe find solace by dragging in Lowassa's name.

Okay, John Brenman might have to go after January 20th but how about Trump's cabinet picks whose stand on issues has differed from their master? Will they go too unless they toe Trump's line?

The trouble with Trump Surrogates is that while they praise him for speaking his mind, they don't give his opponents the same leeway. For example..when civil rights icon Rep.
