Labda ungefafanua zaidi.Wengi wenye PhD huku kwetu hupenda kuitwa Dr.Lkini wenzetu utakuta wanajiita Ms.Condoleeza Rice PhD,huyu mama hajawahi kujiita Dr hata siku moja.

Sasa kama ni surgeon na akapata Phd atabaki kuwa Dr ila akipenda ataweka hiyo PhD salutaion mwisho.

3. Mtu mwenye shahada ya kwanza ya udaktari wa mifugo yaani BVM kutoka chuochochote kinachotambuliwa na serikali
4. Mtu mwenye shahada ya uzamivu yaani Phd katika field yoyote ile kutoka chuo chochote kinachotambuliwa na serikali

Hivyo basi, matumizi ya title ya Dr kiofisi kwa mtu yeyote yule asiye kuwa na angalau mojawapo ya sifa tajwa hapo juu ni batili. Na ndio maana hata waganga wa kienyeji hujiita Dr au professor lakini kamwe huwezi kukuta jina lake linaazia na Dr au Prof katika nyaraka zozote za kiserikali.
Hivyo Aisha kigoda kama hana mojawapo ya sifa tajwa hapo juu, aache maramoja kutumia hiyo title, kwani kuendelea kuitumia kinyume cha sheria ni kuwa hadaa watanzania na wapiga kura wake, na inaweza kuleta hali ya mashaka katika uwezo wake na uhalali wake wa kutuongoza.

AMOs are not supposed to be called a Doctor as in medical studies.A person who is entitled to a Doctor's title is one who has completed a thorough 5 years of Medical School.In Medicine a person who aquires a diploma is not entitled to be called a Doctor period.There is a vast difference between a a degree course and a diploma course.A degree course costs the hell of five years,and diploma just costs 2 years.A degree course is a really intensive course to mould a person to become a doctor,while diploma is just a brushing course to understand the concept of medicine.

A doctor with degree can explain the pathophysiology of the disease,but AMO can not as he has not done so many subjects as a degree holder has done.A degree holder does one year of Anatomy,but AMO does not.So an AMO even doesnt know what and where the muscle is inserted,what the anatomy of the organ he doesnt know....

Degree holders do Biochem,Physiology,Microbiology,Pathology,Epidemiology,Pharmacology,but AMO even doesnt know what these courses are.MD understands how the medicine works in your body,but AMO doctor does not.

So please guys,respect the one who has lost his sleep for five years and and one year of internship,as AMO even doesnt undergo internship.They are supposed to be addressed as Mr.or Mrs,and r supposed to work under a qualified MD.period.

so there is a huge difference btn these two cadres,which will never meet.ma AMO wanojiita ma doc,please respect the school.If u wanna be called a doc,than go to school again for 5 years and one year of thorough internship.period.

Nina cousin wangu yuko kijijni ambaye alifanya hii kozi ya AMO na anatembea na stethescope akigawa Panadol na kwinini kutibu malaria na watu wanamuita Dr. Japheth. Alafu nina kakangu tumbo moja ambaye alisota hio miaka mitano na mwengine mmoja wa internship na kwa sasa anapiga diploma ya kuspecialise in a particular field, nadhani ni Obstetrics na Gyns, na yeye ni Dr pia.

Basi tulipokua msibani kwa bibi ilikua vichekesho kweli maana ilikua kaazi kweli kweli watu walipojaribu kuwatofautisha. Hata hivyo AMO alikaa kikalio cha chini maana alijua hawezi kutamba mbele ya bro mdogo.

Nimewahi kukutana na madaktari wengi wa kutoka USA na kitu kimoja kilichonishangaza wao hawapendi kujitambulisha kama doctor...fulani, bali wanatumia zaidi Mr, kwa Tanzania jina doctor ni deal wakati elimu yenyewe ndio hii tunayoijua na vitendea kazi vyao primitive, lakini napendekeza aitwe "Mganga wa Binaadamu"

Wakati wote hao wameitwa madaktari. Je unafahamu kuwa WHO imetambua kada hiyo, na imekubaliwa kuwa hata na specialization, mathalan AMO (opthalmology)n.k. Nadhani unahitaji kutuwekea details zaidi ili Jamvi hili likuelewe vizuri.

Haya, na Professa Majimarefu? Dr Kifimbo? Dr nani nani nani nani....? Kutoka SUmbawanga, kutoka Ujiji, Kutoka Bagamoyo, Kutoka Tanga..... na wapi tena vile...? Hao nao wamefanya kazi nzuri sanaaa!
