ITS A BAYERS MARKET FOR JOSE
JOSE MOURINHO has made finalising the capture of Andre Schurrle his top priority after taking charge of Chelsea.
The Special One only returned to Stamford Bridge on Monday yet he has already been in touch with Bayer Leverkusen about finalising the Blues Schurrle bid.
Mourinho last night took charge of a World XI in Michael Ballacks testimonial in Germany.
And following the friendly he held talks with Leverkusen sporting director Rudi Voller, who bossed the Ballack XI in Leipzig.
Voller said: Definitely, we have been in touch about it and we have talked to each other about it. But there is nothing to reveal.
There is interest in the services of Andre Schurrle from Chelsea, but we will have to keep on waiting the progress of those next few days.
Ballack was sent into retirement in Leipzig with the glittering friendly featuring Germany star Schurrle, Dimitar Berbatov, Didier Drogba and Andre Schevchenko.
The former Chelsea midfielder played a half for each side, with the Ballack XI running out 4-3 winners.

JOSE MOURINHO today breezed back into Chelsea declaring: I am the HAPPY One!
Mourinho has returned to Stamford Bridge nearly a decade after his first arrival sent shockwaves through English football.
He famously dubbed himself the Special One in a bombshell first Press conference in 2004.
And after sealing a four-year, £40million deal to replace Rafa Benitez, Mourinho insists he returns to West London in a better place than ever.
Speaking at his first Press conference since taking the job, he said: I am the Happy One.
Time flies. It feels like it was a just couple of days ago but it was nine years.
Since then lots of things have happened in my professional life I have the same nature, I am the same person, I have the same heart and I have the same kind of emotions related to my passion for football.
I describe myself as a very happy person.
And you know this is the first time that I arrive in a club which I already love.
I think I am in the best moment of my career in terms of knowledge and experience.
I feel calm, comfortable and I am sorry that pre-season does not start tomorrow.
Mourinho is adored in SW6 for delivering back-to-back titles in his first two Chelsea seasons.
But the former Porto chief insists he is starting from zero and wants to win the love of the Shed End all over again.
He said: It is a special fan base, it is a special club. I want to be respected for what I did in the past but I want to be loved for what I can do know.
The club knows my mentality and the fans can be sure that I have come here to do my best.
I havent chosen a comfortable position because I am returning to a house where the fans love me.
I am coming from the opposite perspective, I feel I have higher resposibility and the fans have higher expectations.
As I was saying, if I have to choose a nickname for this period I was choose the Happy One.
A fall-out with Roman Abramovich saw Mourinho divorced from the club in September 2007.
But Mourinho insists he never went to war with the mega-money Russian owner and says there was no bad blood between the pair.
He added: I read that I was fired, that we had a complete break of relationships. But it was a mutual agreement.
We thought it was the best for the both of us.
It was a sad moment but I dont regret that decision because after that I went to inter and had probably the best moment of my career.
After that I went to Madrid where we have still the record of the best team in Spanish history. And for Chelsea things went well too.
It was a difficult decision but a decision made by mutual agreement. That is why it is possible for me to be here today.
I am more than happy to follow the philosophy he has for the team.
After his deparutre from Chelsea, Mourinho went on to win the Treble with Inter Milan and grabbed the Spanish title back off Barcelona in 2012.
Mourinho went potless last term though and left Madrid with zero titoli a dig he once aimed a Carlo Ancelotti, who is expected to replace him at the Bernabeu.
A cash wrangle threatened to block his exit from Spain but once an agreement was reached to leave Real for nothing the path was clear to replace Benitez at Stamford Bridge.

Attacking midfielders at Chelsea for now: Mata, Hazard, Oscar, Marin, Moses, Schurrle, Kevin De Bruyne, Piazon... It's really complicated, someone will get loaned out, but somebody will be benched. Im happy to know the striking forces....Lukaku, Ba, Torres, Cavani, Lewandowksi, or Hulk

Success always attracts envy. I am not surprised that Mourinho and Ferguson are most hated people in football. Hivo hivyo inakwenda kwa vilabu, vyenye mafanikio zaidi vinachukiwa zaidi ndio maana uliona kura zilizopigwa hivi karibuni Chelsea iliongoza kwa kuchukiwa ikifuatiwa Man U.
Losers kama Wenger na Arsenal wanapata public sympathy.
