Unai Emery has chosen to employ him as a shuttler like Kante with Xhaka as the deep-lying playmaker. A lot of people aren't convinced he'd do well inplace of Xhaka because he's short, well he's an interesting fact, Torreira is taller than Marco Verratti, albeit by a wee inch.

Time for Unai Emery to employ some real expert regista instead of wasting him in a shuttling position. Torreira might have that Uruguayan energy but he ain't Ngolo Kante, photo by @brfootball

Chelsea against the Big 5 during the second half of the season
- Away at Arsenal
- Away at Liverpool
- Away at Man City
- Away at Man Utd
- Home to Spurs
Not gonna lie, I'm actually worried especially when you look at Chelsea's struggles of scoring goals. CFC need a goalscorer!

Jasho La Kuku said:

The term "regista" is an italian word which translates to "director". He usually sits infront of a back-4, but unlike the classic DM protecting the back-line [not that a regista isn't involved in defensive duty], a regista's primary role is to dictate the team's offensive play
