Brake fluid kuvujia onto brake booster housing... yaani kwenye makutano ya Master Cylinder na Booster panavuja mpaka rangi ya booster housing imemenyeka (booster paint peeling off) coz of such fluid leakage.

Master Cylinder iliyopo sasa iliwekwa mwaka jana November, tuliweka used ya Japan. Master iliyokuja na gari tuliiondoa baada ya kuonekana kuwa imekufa (brake pedal to sink, na brake fluid kuwa rangi nyeusi. No leakage).

N.B: Gari ni Toyota IST old model. Recommended brake fluid ni DOT 3, lakini wakati tunaweka hii master cylinder tuliswitch brake fluid to Castrol DOT 4.

Leakage ina mwezi mzima sasa tangu niinotice.

Fundi 1: Amekagua tatizo na kusema kuwa huwa kuna gasket kati ya master na booster. Anasema hiyo gasket haipo hapo, kwamba fundi aliyebadilisha master last time itakuwa alisahau kuiweka. Hivyo, kutokuwepo gasket hapo ndiyo kunasababisha brake fluid kuvujia hapo. Solution ni kuwekapo gasket ili kuzuia hiyo leakage.

Fundi 2: Anasema hakunaga gasket kati ya master na booster. Bali hiyo brake fluid leakage hapo inasababishwa na kufa kwa 'piston seal' ndani ya master cylinder. Kwamba master imeua seal. Solutions ni mbili... Either kuweka SEAL nyingine (repair kit itahusika hapa na ni nafuu kigharama) or kuweka master cylinder nyingine complete.

Fundi 3: Anasema kwamba hapo huwa kuna gasket, lakini gasket hiyo haihusiani na kuvuja kwa brake fluid. So hiyo leakage hapo ni kwasababu Master cylinder imekufa. Solution ya kuaminika ni KUWEKA MASTER CYLINDER NYINGINE tu basi.

Hapo kuna mawili hio master cylinder imefungwa vibaya imeua threads ndio maana mchuzi unamwagika. Umeweka DOT 4 imeua rubbers za kwenye piston mafuta yanavuja. Solution ya uhakika ni kubadili master cylinder tu na uweke dot 3 brake fluid.
 
Kwahiyo hakuna haja ya kuweka master cylinder nyingine complete?
Tafsiri ya kiufundi piston inaweza kuwa nzima ila ceal imekauka au imepungua ujanzo, repair kit huja gasket, piston na ceal. Sasa inatakiwa ifunguliwe kwanza kuona kama jumba lake halijalika, au kutengeneza mikwaruzo ambayo itasababisha ceal ipitishe mafuta ya brake
