Those figures were cooked by some individuals ndio wapate benefits mingi kutoka kwa foreign organisations. The 2009 Kenya Population and Housing Census reports Kibera's population as 170,070, the total area is estimated to be 2.5 km².
Even after adding Langata & other kibera neighboring estates estates the number does not add up to 2M!

*How the hell are 2.5 million people supposed to live in a 2.5km² area![emoji33][emoji33][emoji33][emoji33][emoji33][emoji33][emoji33][emoji33][emoji33][emoji33] This must be the greatest lie ever told. In real sense,Kibera is not even the 20th largest slum in Africa.

According to the 2009 census, Nairobi had a population of 3.5million & estimated to be 4.8M in 2018. 60% of Nairobi residents live in East lands, Kibera iko Nairobi west.
