They said the same about World Track and Field championships but later granted Kasarani to host the junior version as a test ground. It was successful. Though they moved the world cross country championships to Mombasa in 2007 . ( Imagine Mombasa has hosted a world event while Dar has never even tried a continental case )..Altitude might hinder us from hosting HSBC tournaments.
