Leleshwa winery, which is named after a common tree in the vicinity, continued to grow and now prides itself as the 2015 winner of Michelangelo Wines and Spirits best white wine award, snatching Double Gold for the Leleshwa 'Sauvignon Blanc 2017' . It is also the only winery between North of Johannesburg and South of Sicily with a female winemaker.

The Kenya Power introduced pre-paid electricity meters in 2000 as a pilot phase to save electricity and ease consumption and utility bill payment. Water meters were introduced in 2009. Wewe kweli akili haikupita shule, kuna private sector zinazo supply hizo meter kwa serikali na bado kuna government owned meters. Hujui huku serikali haishikilii kila kitu ka Tz! 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
