Someone should think thrice before venturing into such a business. In Africa all the major airlines are making losses except Ethiopian airlines. And despite this knowledge, the people from the south have still chosen to invest heavily into buying new aircrafts. In the last 5 to 10 years I am sure Tanzania has spent more than 1 billion dollars buying fully paid brand new aircrafts and then they are laughing at KQ for leasing aircrafts. Anyway, their two big expensive dreamliners are gathering dust and rust in their hangers instead of flying and recouping the original investment.
