AU's dilemna and the Libyan crisis

AU's dilemna and the Libyan crisis

Mkuu.
Last but not least, wameingiwa na woga, wasiwasi na kiwewe.

Sio kuandamana kuipinga US pekee.
Halafu mbali ya kuandamana ingetangazwa na maimamu woote hapo Dar wawaambie wabongo wote wenye ndugu jamaa na marafiki wanaoishi USA, UK, Denmark, Dubai (UAE), Canada na nchi zoote zilizohusika kwenye uvamizi wa Libya warudi nyumbani. Waislamu wote wabongo wanaoishi nchi hizi waondoke asap.

NAIROBI, Kenya – The list of countries where Moammar Gadhafi might spend a comfortable life in exile is a lot shorter today than it would have been in years past because of global monetary sanctions and possible trial at the International Criminal Court.

Uganda's deposed dictator, Idi Amin, found refuge first in Libya and eventually in Saudi Arabia in 1980, living in his own villa with female companionship, food and drink.

That kind of good life may not be likely for Gadhafi. In a twist of fate, Uganda said Wednesday it would accept Libya's leader, the first country to publicly volunteer to give him a home.

Once the west used to call us Apes! this is proving right now! our moral values has been rocked and deceived by money! In Africa once John or Mohammed is wealthy he could even sleep with our under aged children, mothers and sisters and the society will smile in acceptance of such lunatic behavior! Eh Lord give us the strength to carry on, give us Africans brains and leave chickens as they are!

Museveni says no asylum for Gaddafi

By TABU BUTAGIRA in Kampala

President Yoweri Museveni Wednesday night described as utter rubbish reports that Uganda had secretly offered asylum to Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi.

The local Daily Monitor contacted the President through his Principal Private Secretary, Ms Grace Akello, after international media outlets, among them Al Jazeera TV channel, ran news of the alleged refuge.

That is a totally unfounded rumour, it is utter rubbish, Ms Akello said, quoting President Museveni.
Presidential Press Secretary Tamale Mirundi, cited as the source of the disputed story, separately refuted the report, saying he advised a reporter who contacted him by telephone to approach Foreign Affairs minister Sam Kutesa.

That story is Western propaganda and a hoax. I cannot speak on Ugandas foreign policy matters and that is why I referred the journalist to the responsible ministry, he said.

To say that Mr Museveni, who has openly opposed military attacks on Libya has now accepted to host Gaddafi, if the latter chose to flee, would mean the President considers his Libyan counterpart a defeated man, said Mr Tamale.

Personal errors

Some of these Western media outlets have their own motives. How can you offer to bury someone on your plot when that person is not yet dead?

State House expressed these sentiments as it emerged that resurgent pro-Gaddafi forces had re-captured from rebels the strategic Ras Lanuf, one of key towns to the east of the country, just days after the government forces hastily retreated when allied forces bombed them.

About a fortnight ago, President Museveni wrote an article that was widely circulated, saying the decision by France, the UK and the US to launch airstrikes on Col. Gaddafis forces lacked impeachable logic and was reminiscent of double standards.

West na US wanajaribu kila mbinu kumuondoa Gaddaffi.

Nigeria walimchukua Taylor halafu wakampeleka The Hague!

Ile AFRICOM ya US imefikia wapi?
