Danny Welbeck will miss next month's England internationals after being ruled out for at least three more weeks by Arsene Wenger.
Welbeck has not played since April when he picked up an injury that was initially expected to keep him out for only a matter of days.
The £16million striker, signed from Manchester United a year ago, missed the FA Cup final and two England games at the end of last season and is still not back in training.

The problem is deep bone bruising just below a knee and Wenger admits he cannot be certain when the 24-year-old will return.
'He is not close, because he has not started full training,' said the Arsenal boss. 'He will be at least three weeks from today.'
This projection will rule him out of Arsenal's games against Crystal Palace on Sunday, Liverpool and Newcastle.
Wenger also confirmed Tomas Rosicky will be missing for months after knee surgery.

Wenger also confirmed Tomas Rosicky could be out for longer than two months after knee surgery

'His agent said it would be one to two months but I would say it could be a bit longer,' he said.
But there was better news on Jack Wilshere, who is out with a hairline fracture in an ankle, and could target a return after next month's international break, when England play San Marino and Switzerland.
'He is back in training,' said Wenger. 'We thought it would be six to eight weeks but it could be three to four. It is quite positive.

Wenger has admitted Arsenal may have overplayed Jack Wilshere when he was younger

However, Wenger insists Arsenal have never rushed the England international back from injury

'I always bring him back when he says he's ready and when fitness coaches say he has quantity of work behind him.
'It comes back to the relationship with medical and fitness people. We have never rushed him back. Maybe when he was younger we overplayed him sometimes because he was such a good player, but now we are quite cautious with him.'
Hector Bellerin, who missed the defeat against West Ham through injury, is back in the squad and Alexis Sanchez, given an extended summer break after the Copa America, is fit to start having come on as a substitute on Sunday.
