Yes, we never disintegrated after Mwalimu left but look how things turned out.
And by no means am I saying we can’t survive without Magufuli.
We will.
But, what will that survival be like?
Better this jiwe guy disappeared pretty fast..
I bet by the time he leaves (regular time).. TZ will be the poorest of all time.. 90% of employable persons will be jobless, tz will be in the dark and highly indebted. Basis for my reasoning include
1. Investments on infrastructure not guided by economic principles.. SGR, STIEGLERS, CHATO INTL AIRPORT, COCOBEACH.. ATCL. Omg!
Ethiopia did try, more or less like what jiwe is doing. Trust me, Ethiopia is the most backward, destitute and dirty country today. Ethopian workers receive peanuts called salaries, youths are desperate to abandon their homeland. No wonder Ethiopians are perishing on East Africa highways and hinterlands, crying to make it to SA.. Ethiopia is in deep shit really, despite the mighty Ethiopian Airlines, and the Renaissance Dam, and the electric train.
Jiwe is commiting serious errors, likely to send us to our knees in not very long while into the future.. He is pursuing a gruesome route, blatantly.. at our cost. Mark my words
2. Business environment and opportunities have been curtailed, banished and destroyed by Jiwe. Each year, his weird and scandalous decisions harm the economy more than imagined. To start with, he killed mbaazi farming, a year later he killed koroshow, now pamba is next..
These used to be the lifeline of farmers and generally the Tz economy. Tz is not manufacturing anything for export. Suffocating agricultural commodity export is as good as comitting suicide.. that is what jiwe is doing, and he knows that.. shameless saboteur..
Locally, hardly any opportunity for regular people to conduct business exists... TRA is being manipulated.. it has turned into a covert weapon to deal with dissidents..
I can surely tell you, Tanzania is slowly becoming another Ethiopia. It will take a decade or more to undo, neutralize or offset damage inflicted on us by jiwe. Who knows, we may even not recover because normally, dictators finally plunge their countries into serious civil conflicts and unrests so they can escape safely..
We know all that.. Zimbabwe, Congo Zaire, Sudan, etc etc
