A grade 9 kid can tell you there was no point investing a lot of millions into a chato airport. Leave alone the fact that the process didn't go through a normal procedure of getting approval from the parliament.

I thought since the thread is in English then it would have been so difficult for the small minds to mistreat it. But then I realise, English is just a language and still small minds are in here spitting shits!

For years many people have been virtue signaling about the pervasiveness of corruption in the country.

Then it’s these same people who are now against the efforts made to combat it.

I don’t get it and maybe I’ll never get it.

I lay blame squarely on CCM for fostering it. They are the ones who created this ogre of corruption and allowed it to grow to uncontrollable levels.

It’s sad to see even what would seemingly be minor projects being micromanaged by the president.

Like, without his direct supervision nothing will ever get done.

Sometimes I wonder if we even know what we really want!

You may not know what you really want; but I know exactly what I really need. And that is having functional governance systems running under genuine democracy. One man show - especially shambolic one man show as is the case now - has never succeeded anywhere on this planet.
