I just found an update of astrovox vsr 9000 Hd pvr from this site can somebody tell me if these firmware are working www​.satsupreme.com/...

I hav an old astrovox vsr9000 that give me a message 'no program's when scanning
Signal and quality are above 65 on nicest.
Old channel are showing good pic but when adding new transponder I get the message no program
Please assist

Hey you dont have to panic. Once you've inserted the usb stick, try switching on the mains power whilst pressing the RED power button on your remote. If you fail try renaiming it ROM only.

Original Strong stbs can be pricked and revived again-therein lies their beauty.

I tried again to nab arabsat 5c @20 e particularly irib package.. failed though having aljazeera at 80_90% quality and africa tv 76% quality.... any member with idea what's wrong? Im in Dar es Salaam, 135cm offset, gulfstar cband and qsat 23.

Just tilt the lnb at abt 45 degree towards the front of the dish

I am using it. No issues. Better than sister to big brother so long as you use only supplied adapter & grid outdoor antenna.

Hello forum. I am in the process of tweeking my monster (subbi) dish for optimum reception especially for eutelsat 7a. Seeing as apart frim the dish, which has been fabricated as per manufacturers specifications, all the other pieces depend on owners and forum members' calculations and adjustments (which are in no doubt correct), im just wondering, despite the admirable size of the dish (8 foot), does it still suffer from rain fade, especially on a night like tonight (25th Apr)? All tps are blank during todays downpour. Do i have some more tweeking to do? Gurus, please assist.

Pole sana for the late reply. Yes, that is the latest patch for the 4922 family. About upgrading, well it does help but there is no much difference just that 4950 is more sensitive and user friendly. There are a few additional channels yes. A cheaper fuji pf - there is this place they are calling Fencom...a few pages back a member has given all their details. They are apparently more price friendly.

Hello Chief. Things seem ok on my end. Nickelodeon & Nick Jr at S 65%, Q 81%, MTV Hits at S 65%, Q 85%.
