Hi stark? Just seen ths on satuploads/wiztech files..is this the latest patch and are we to upgrade for more channels to open..btw wea can i get fuji pf lnb at cheaper price?

Hi k2boo...u must first nab eutelsat 7a with channels like tvge,radio mocambique,muvi tvs' the balance your lnb to get a Q90-92.. scroll through your list of tps then select lowest tps i.e 10804v/30000 and 11843V/29990..a Q78 will keep u ..id advice u use the fuji lnb(works wonders)with 1.8pf..let me know how it goes..
N/B:eutelsat 7a is just above ses5 5e..by mm/two.

Hi kevin11, have u managed to nab the digitu*k goodies using a 1.8m pf in Dar? I believe Dar is further from the equator than Mombasa(cant nab it with 180cm pf) hence nabbing dgtu*k will need something bigger eg 240cm offset...I stand to be corrected :smile-big:

We here in eastern D.R.Congo near the equator combine a c band and ku band LNBs on a 240 pf dish with a motor and positioner we pick upto 30 positions/satelites. It is very normal for some one in Dar getting 12 positions

My setup has a 3m mesh with a eurostar positioner + actuator, it moves when tracking different satellites on the arc but I switch off the positioner once am a favourite position. Its possible to receive several satellites at the same time but the dish will have to be moving as set on the positioner which I find cumbersome, especially if the satellite positions are far apart. Imagine changing a from a freq on 7W to another on either IS20 68.5E or even measat 3A 91.5E like in my setup!

Dear once...av never Bn dissapointed as when I updated my SRT 4950m from 3.11 to 3.20...the update made me loose 11617 on 7e and blocked all the local channels on 10a...i resolved to downgrading it back immediately and they just popped up again...

The best ku in Kenyan market at the is SAMSON twin lnb.

Goes for between 1200/= to 1400/=ksh at the satellite shops based along Luthuri Avenue.

I'm going to try looking for this LnB for my BeIN decorder. Anyone with an idea of a shop in Luthuli selling it? What price currently?

I can assure u old is gold....I don't see myself updating my SRT soon Hata kama its version 10.2 imetokea....imagn inafika kwa 11617 na inaskip nikama hakuna kitu hapo while the Q=78% ..In the 10a while doing the blind scan after doing the factory reset no frequency popped up,its like the satelite dsnt exist...haha...dissapointed Asas.

Another major drawback is that its only suitable for a single room installation. Once u expand to two or more rooms it ceases to be an option.

What happened to you just happened to me and other forum members on updating some of SRT series receivers.My advise is,always to upload channelist,key list/softcam key and others in a memory device as a backup before updating to a new software and factory set.On my srt 4950h I couldn't downgrading back to v3.09p from v3.20p it was rejected as old software only experiment way that solved my problem.Im now using v3.20p. In addition, that set-up requires a bit of patience to be able to nab that bird using a 180cm pf + the stargold. But yes, 68% and above will pop the channels. You can achieve a bit more than that with a bit of tweaking and turning of the lnb. My experience also is that the signal becomes weak when the sky is cloudy or at night (Nbi).
