I tried again to nab arabsat 5c @20 e particularly irib package.. failed though having aljazeera at 80_90% quality and africa tv 76% quality.... any member with idea what's wrong? Im in Dar es Salaam, 135cm offset, gulfstar cband and qsat 23.

90cm dish on HH motor getting 12 sats, ohh please, hatuja anza hii kazi jana. weka picha ya hio motor, ya dish na screen shots za hizo sats zote + signal and quality strength. hii ndio tunasema ni Hekaya. if you know what i mean

h-h means horizon to horizon motor. This means the dish can swing from eastern to western horizon (180 deg theoretically) under disec comand. In practice this is limited to a lower value say 160 deg. it will capture all birds within this arc but of course it takes time to swing from one sat to the next. The number of sats receivable depends on how the location is covered. 12 is even too few. In places like Europe I think even 50 is possible.

Husseincity, those readings are too good to bring irib channels down. Try manual scan 3965 v 30000. If not succesful twick your lnb, push it a little bit in or out, left or right. Here in Malawi i got it at 54 sq with aljazeera at 76, using Wiz8055HD on 180cm cband dish.

Is your 8040 already patched. Go to menu-System Settings-Super Setting and enable patch. Then enter manual key edit. My experience with this decoder is that you have to delete all biss keys before you add the one you want. Just add the key input the key under key line leave everything as it is. Remember one key only, if you add two of different channels one will not work.

Siyo kwa wakati mmoja ila kama ukichagua channel ambayo ipo satellite nyingine motor inazunguka yenyewe kuelekea kwenye hiyo satellite na inategemea ipo wapi relative na hiyo ulipo sasa hivi mfano kutoka nilesat 7W hadi Eutelsat7B at 70.5e inachukua muda kidogo.

We here in eastern D.R.Congo near the equator combine a c band and ku band LNBs on a 240 pf dish with a motor and positioner we pick upto 30 positions/satelites. It is very normal for some one in Dar getting 12 positions

So bro what is the solution to this problem also i experienced the problem. Mine is Wiztech 999 HD when mixed Bein sport and either TV3 Ghana or Irib keys they refuse but TV3 and Irib their ok what could be the solution.

18 channels with a motor? Why use it then if you only get 18 channels. You nab one bird and get a hundred-fold of these channels. Or am I missing something here?

Hi k2boo...u must first nab eutelsat 7a with channels like tvge,radio mocambique,muvi tvs' the balance your lnb to get a Q90-92.. scroll through your list of tps then select lowest tps i.e 10804v/30000 and 11843V/29990..a Q78 will keep u 😊..id advice u use the fuji lnb(works wonders)with 1.8pf..let me know how it goes..
N/B:eutelsat 7a is just above ses5 5e..by mm/two.
