Hello good people am new here have been using a dreambox dm 800 hd se well until february. I checked forum didnt see any info on the dreambox. Although I have seen I might have to get a 120 cm dish though currently I have a 90 cm. I would like your advice or the right path to take with my...I am in Nairobi

Welcome Houdini,with dreambox800 Se download DM image with **img not **nfi example- black hole v2.1.4 or nemesis and then download dreamup v3.1.1.9 and flash the box with dreamup.After that download addons,plugins & cams which will help.Note that with blackhole images, you can set EPG for 1 week through EPG panel but don't use forced EPG.

Yes they have international channels.The quality is good depending on the signal strength. Some channels don't pop up if the signal is weak

Hi African people, i've read & re-read the previous posts but am still in the dark on how to get most of the channels from strong 4950h.
Updated the reciever to v3.20, twisted the dish,the quality & strength in most tps are S-90% Q-90% or there about. Am only getting 4 of cctv channels on fta, all the others are displaying the S sign
Note; am from kiambu using the 90cm dish.
Eager to get some documentaries, movies & cartoons.
Where am i going wrong??

Good morning Oldersm. A 90cm dish is woefully insufficient for that. You need a minimum of 130cm offset or 180cm primefocus.

Following info you provided, your dish is pointed to eutelsat 36e carrying big brother's package. So swing your dish to West, hunt some movies on nilesat 7west. But for coveted goodies you need bigger dish.
