Aviation tv is on which sat?
Even with the love for free things read FTA, I would rather pay dstv premium and enjoy 38 months of stress free entertainment or 310 months of azam. Just out of curiosity where do you draw the line and how free is FTA if it means spending colossal amounts of money and time on roofs some which are dangerous?
They're skating on very thin ice!terrestrial on signet platform
Am enjoying the unscrambled signals on Amos 5. I hope they are there to stay. But again am thinking its just a Christmas thing.
Being an ambassador of azam, their picture quality is great, ask those who have it. But as usual if its free we can accept ok quality.Could be. i have to ask; is it just me or does the picture quality on those channels look cheap. If that is what Azam or Zing offers basi wacha ikae.

RADIO Africa Group has today unveiled a digital network platform via a free-to-view service known as Bamba TV, making it the first team of local broadcasters to embrace digital migration head-on. The service will be offered under its newly established subsidiary, Lancia Digital Broadcast, and will be accessed over free-to-view decoders. The set-top boxes are on sale for a one-off cost of Sh3,299, without recurring monthly charges or subscriptions as is the case with pay-TV, effectively reducing the digital switch-over costs for most Kenyan households. Radio Africa Group has disclosed it will invest up to $10 million (Sh905 million) in the service over the next few years. Bamba TV has been piloted for the past 12 months, and the signal is now live in Nairobi and its environs ahead of the December 31 deadline for the analogue signal. Bamba TV will be available countrywide by March, when Kenya is expected to complete the analogue-to-digital broadcasting switch off. The new service will offer 50-plus channels, up to 24 of which will be international exclusive to Bamba TV while the rest will be local free-to-air channels. We have been on the road for over a year, striking deals with the greatest TV channels around the world, and now we can offer all these amazing channels to Kenyans for free, said Danny Mucira, the general manager for Bamba TV. We believe that Kenyans who cannot afford to pay for TV should have access to top quality entertainment. So, Bamba TV has no monthly subscriptions and it is free for life. The service is poised to be Kenyas premier family entertainment platform, airing children's programmes, movies and entertainment, fashion, sports, documentaries and news channels. The free-to-view package on digital terrestrial television is a first on the continent. Al Jazeera English and France 24 English are among four international news channels to be accessed on Bamba TV. It will also have two sports channels, including one for wrestling. We are now providing the digital dividends for the ordinary Kenyan the best TV channels, free for the rest of their lives. Kenyans will Bambika ki Sonko with Bamba TV, Mucira said. We will also create a diversity of voices and afford Kenyan producers the opportunity to build and launch their own channels on Bamba TV. Radio Africa Group has dominated the Kenyan radio scene over the past 14 years and made an indelible mark on the newspaper scene with the Star. Besides Bamba TV, its stable boasts most-listened-to stations, including Classic 105, Kiss 100, Radio Jambo, 105.5 Xfm and Jambo Turkana. It also owns Kiss TV.
