Even with the love for free things read FTA, I would rather pay dstv premium and enjoy 38 months of stress free entertainment or 310 months of azam. Just out of curiosity where do you draw the line and how free is FTA if it means spending colossal amounts of money and time on roofs some which are dangerous?

In fact, an agreement was reached with beIN Media Group, the parent company of beIN SPORTS, according some local [Turkish] sources. The agreement should be finalised early next year[2015]. This new deal will allow the Qatari group to continue its International expansion, after the launch of beIN SPORTS Australia [in November, 2014].

FTA goes by your budget, the $3000 dish is for co-oporate uses, I bought mine at kshs 7500. so stop thinking that a maruti will not deliver you there just because your friend is riding in range rover.

guess those of us with active bein sports subscription are way infront of the line ! just thinking, unless of course they decide to raise the subscription fees!!!

Very strange. Only page 531 is missing. All the others are there !!
Its not working at all on my PC or laptop.
Every time I click 531, I am re-directed to 530.

I think are targetting those customers with limited resources in terms of FTA.You find the HD boxes are more expensive and does not make sense owning one and none of your channel list contain an HD channel and you do not even own an HD TV.

That was my thinking too. Targetting the low end market. About HD, D*g*turk have unscrambled one HD channel: TRT 1 HD. It's majorly in Turkish but has good documentaries in English.

I noticed a huge consignment of satellite dishes arriving through Jkia this week. My curiosity led me to track down the consignee and a communication via e-mail ensued. I enquired about the availability and cost of a virgin 2.4m offset. I have attached a screen shot of their response for you to ponder. As for me, that is the end of that conversation! Abu, your curiosity is not bad at all! Now we know what you know. I once passed behind our Kenyan national broadcaster and in what seems like their motor yard was this huge BUD that seems dilapidated. I couldn't resist stop and ask whoever was nearby "Are you selling that?" 🙂
