that project involved people with brains and vision. the lead engineer for this project came from middle east, the state of art technology to move and scan luggages was designed by siemens (german), projects were managed by chinese firms. I dont think our leaders are ready to make such economic sacrifices let aside the common ones which for the past four decade we havent find a clue. Imagine issue of sanitation in our cities and towns (kipindupindu), inadequate infrastructure, shule mbovu, poor health services yet we brag to embark on projects like presidential jet, 'twin towers' and give them the status of economic prosperity! really? us we have basic issues to address before jumped onto those mega structures....clean and safe water, sustainable roads, health care, schools etc

The budget of the expansion is US$3.5 billion. Airport is served by the Airport Express Line of the Beijing Subway. The 28.1 km line runs from Terminal 3 to Terminal 2 and then to the city with stops at Sanyuanqiao and Dongzhimen. A one-way ticket costs Y25 and a trip takes 16-20 minutes.
