Wakali wa umombo JF...

I see he is not pro Nyerere, at least from the first article you brought here earlier.

Or is that the element of critical objectivity?

I will say the guy has balls, I haven't read the ones I am quoting now but I can't help chuckling at how I will relish a fresh touch from our local talents on world stage matters.

Almost like reading an "Economist" article written by a local journalist?

Or would you notch it down to "Businessweek"?

It seems I have been underrating the local press, and in doing so, I am missing some crown jewels.

Thanks for the links.

Is it American English or British ? do you want all of us to post or reply in English ? I think we applause tho who use most ,kaiswahili. be blessed.

Hahahaha....Haki ya Mungu. You really had to write all these complex vocabularies to make a point.

Complex is relative.

As they say, there is a thin line between genius and insanity, I think many a readers overlook him because of being mistaken for possessing the latter; surely he must be one of brightest bulbs in Tanzania that fall on the sideway because of the tyranny of the academy!

There is this other guy, Karl Lymo, he is also a crown jewel, at least in terms of the mastery of the Queen's language for, as your already know, a literary maestro is not necessarily a master of logic though one can hardly argue against the converse!

Insane or not, I enjoy a well written counterpoint from an iconoclastic outlier.

I am reading his piece on the land issue, agreeing that a better long term land ownership model is needed, even as I might not agree with his thinly disguised almost outright justification of land grabbing.

He is unapologetic and unequivocally adamant in "kumbana mbavu" Mkapa.

If they say Tanzania lacks freedom of the press, we ought to point out to this guy and say if they haven't locked him up, it may be bad but it can't be that bad.

2014 Pulitzer Prize: The winners are, Kiranga and Nyani Ngabu.

I am currently reading Haynes Johnson, a real Pulitzer prize winner, his father was one too.

He must be turning over in his grave.

how about me in this language? 連我也很好,在這種語言的熟練程度,你怎麼說. I think i am competent enough.

Criticism may not be agreeable, but it is necessary. It fulfils the same function as pain in the human body. It calls attention to an unhealthy state of things.

- Winston Churchill.

criticism is acceptable but do not be hurt and make your partner feel humiliated
