Over weight and obesity are indeed a growing problem not only for women but also for men and children, especially in the urban settings. It is an exponential risk for non communicable diseases like hypertension and heart diseases.

It is important to do something...simply we can start by knowing weight we are supposed to weigh according to our height, this can eventually be used to calculate a Body Mass Index (BMI).

BMI is a number calculated from a person's weight and height[BMI = weight/height[SUP]2[/SUP]]. BMI provides a reliable indicator of body fatness and is used to screen for weight categories which are risk or indicate to health problems, especially hypertension and heart diseases!!

Hata mimi zamani niliamini mtu mwenye uwalaza ni msomi sana na iko pesa mingi na nikiona mwenye mvi kama Lowasa najuwa hapo hekima zimejaa kumbe wapi.

Tofauti na nchi za wenzetu, kwetu watu wenye vitambi ndiyo wanaonekana wenye afya.

Watu wanabugia minyama choma, kiti moto na mibia ili angalao wawe na vitambi.

Kuna kasumba imejengeka miongozi mwa watu wengi kuwa mtu mwenye kitambi lazima atakuwa nazo.

Hii imechangiwa kwa kiasia kubwa na watu kutozingatia kanuni na taratibu za lishe bora kutokana na mwamko mdogo wa elimu ya afya jamii.

Aisee kama ulishazaa, ukaanza kunenepa bila mazoezi, situps au kubana tumbo (reallocating fats) uwezekano wa tumbo kunenepa no mkubwa sana.
Na ukijikondesha kwa diet, tumbo plus masaburi vinapungua as fats zote zinatumika kutengeneza nguvu. My point is, lifestyle yako yaweza ongeza au punguza mtumbo.

Kwa upande wangu sioni tatizo, lkn kwa wanaume wanaopenda big behinds inawapunguzia raha yao.
Recently nimekata 8 kilos so nina experience na cutting up some fats, maana l had to change the whole wardrobe. Sarawili zilizokuwa hazifungi sasa hivi zachea.
