The much anticipated annual listing of the 100 Most Influential Africans of 2020 published by the continent’s premier pan-African publication, London-based New African magazine imetangazwa leo.
List hiyo iliyogawanywa katika mafungu manne, four categories of Leaders; Pathfinders; Creatives; and Icons.
Kundi la kwanza ni la viongozi, kwa mambo makubwa rais Dr. John Pombe Joseph Magufuli aliyoyafanya, kwenye vita dhidi ya janga la Corona, nilitegemea JPM ndie ange top the list, but to my surprise, hayumo!, wamekuja kumuweka Paul Kagame!, hata kwa Uganda badala ya kumuweka Museveni, wamemuweka Bobbi Wine!. Hawa watu vipi?.
Kwenye kundi ma Icons nilitegemea Diamond Platinum lakini hayumo!. Katika matajiri nilimtegemea Bakhressa au Mo!.
Kwenye wana sports nilimtegemea Mbwana Samatta wapi!.
Kwenye list hiyo kuna 36 women, and 64 men.
Kwenye mambo ya muziki, Arts and Culture kuna watu 30 halafu Diamond wetu hayumo!. Kwenye Politics and Public Service kuna watu 23 halafu Magufuli wetu hayumo!. Kwenye Business and Finance kuna watu 15, halafu Bakhresa wetu, Mo Dewji wa Manji hawapo!. Kwenye Science, Tech and Innovation kuna watu 9, kwa jinsi tuu tulivyoishinda Corona kwa kupiga nyungu!, hapa tungepaswa tuwemo lakini nil!. Is this fair or hii ni fake list?!.
Hata hivyo, kwenye list hiyo, kuna Mtanzania mmoja tuu!. Guess who....?!
Ngoja nikuwekee the full list kwanza halafu tuje kwa huyu Mtanzania.

Rebeca Z. Gyumi is a Founder & Executive Director at Msichana Initiative, a Tanzanian NGO which aims to empower a girl child through education, and address key challenges which limit girl’s right to education.
Winning the battle against child marriagesCivil Society & Activism
Tanzania has the 11th-highest absolute number of child brides in the world, according to UNICEF. With at least 779,000 child brides, two out of five girls living in the East African country are married before their 18th birthday.
Previously, girls in Tanzania could marry at the age of 14. In January 2016, Gyumi, a lawyer and social activist, decided to fight against this law.
She embarked on a mission to change it and empower girls in Tanzania. Following her campaign, in July 2016, sections 13 and 17 of the Marriage Act were ruled unconstitutional. Most notably, the Tanzanian government appealed against the 2016 landmark ruling.
However, in October this year, the government lost the appeal – the 2016 ruling has been upheld.
