JOSE MOURINHO bows out of the Bernabeu tonight with a savage blast ringing in his ears.
Madrid legend Guti has accused the Special One of running away.
Mourinho is packing his bags for Chelsea after Reals clash with Osasuna which will end his first season without a trophy in 11 years.
And Guti rapped: We expected big things of him but hes been a letdown for all Madrid fans.
Its not the lack of trophies this season which is the problem.
But when youve had your worst season, showing a bit more humility would have done us all a favour.
I think its fair to say he jumped ship when you have a four-year contract and then want to leave as soon as you have an average season.
Guti spent 14 years at the Bernabeu, leaving in 2010 when Mourinho arrived.
He added: The most recent comments from Pepe, Cristiano Ronaldo and Iker Casillas give the impression that the situation had become untenable.
So maybe Mourinho thought that leaving would be in Madrids best interests.
Mourinho will have success wherever he goes and probably would have achieved more if he had stayed longer.
Mourinho has barely spoken in public for the past month, since confirming he would be leaving.
But the coach who had a series of rows with his players, directors, media and opponents could well let rip after tonights game.
Yet not everyone is so pleased at Mourinhos departure, despite Madrid trailing bitter rivals Barcelona by 15 points in the Spanish league.
German international Sami Khedira, who was signed by Mourinho three years ago, said: Our coach is leaving us and we all respect his decision.
I am personally very grateful to him and want to thank him for the chance he gave me and all the support he gave too.
He always had my back and I want to thank him for all the time I was able to develop and mature with Madrid.
And former Madrid Galactico Luis Figo said: The fans should be fair and I hope he will get a good send-off.
