Hahahaha, you bought 30M JJ doses with your own money? You are clearly ignorant of the benefits that Kenya gets.
We are negotiating an FTA with the US right now that we hope will help us benefit the same way Korea, Israel and Morocco have benefited.
We are ironing out issues like the DST issue and the worldwide corporate tax rate (which your country was not even asked its opinion about, but will have to comply, but Kenya, Nigeria ,Egypt ,Ghana and South Africa were aked. It tells a lot about where TZ is considered to be even from an African context).
We are getting more vaccine doses from the US.
Kenya alongside South Africa has benefitted a lot from donated vaccines, after all South Africa got only Pfizer, Nigeria only Moderna, Kenya got both as well as Johnson and Johnson but we want to be in front of the line when it comes to getting more of them .Why do you think Biden's donation of 17million J&J vaccines to the AU was made when he was meeting Uhuru? We have already bought our own 13 million J&J doses with our own money. We need an extra 10 million single dose J &J doses to vaccinate everyone in addition to the 7 million doses of Astrazeneca, Moderna, Pfizer and Sinopharm we already have (which are 2 dose ones that cover 3.5 million people) those extra 10 million will partially come from those vaccines donated to the AU.
Yes, a lot of development was taking place.
Ameandika 13 million kwani hujui kusoma.Hahahaha, you bought 30M JJ doses with your own money?
Kenya des not need a trade deal in arms. They are provided even without a trade deal. The US drone strikes Al Shabaab on behalf of AMISOM all the time. We have been in Somalia for 10 years with less than 500 dead . We are not leaving any time soon. Al Shabaab thinks itself to be Afghanistan's Taliban.Unless you mean trade in arms,as Al Shabab are still posing a formidable challenge and they have vowed not to stop until when Kenya surrenders.
Kukutana na Biden ni matunda?Fisi aliposhindwa kuvifikia matunda kwenye miti alisema kwamba ni mabichi.
Less than 500 dead?, You must be from KiberaKenya des not need a trade deal in arms. They are provided even without a trade deal. The US drone strikes Al Shabaab on behalf of AMISOM all the time. Unlike the Taliban, Somalia ,at least the unstable part ,is not full of mountain hideouts, but is mostly a flat region easy to drone. Unlike Afghanistan, it faces several federal regions that will never accept their rule. Al Shabaab never conquered Puntland. It never managed to enter Somaliland even. They honestly think they can take on their own people plus AMISOM and the US???
Remember how ISIS thought they could take on the Syrian Government, The Iraqi Government, local militias like the Kurds as well as other jihadists like Al Nusra , and a coalition led by the United States???
How did that go for them?? Does ISIS have any territory it holds in Syria and Iraq today???
The fact that Al Shabaab has not been defeated is due to the incompetence of other sections of AMISOM(Gedo, under Ethiopia ,Mogadishu, under Uganda and Baidoa, under Burundi have had terror attacks almost every month. When was the last time Kismayu which is under Kenya had one??? The terror attacks Kenya has had inside its territory since 2013 have all come from the Ethiopian and formerly the Sierra Leonean sectors, which border Mandera and Wajir) and the fact that the Federal Government of Somalia is full of sympathizers in its civil service (which is why I do not fully blame Ugandans in Mogadishu. They are not exactly working in a supportive environment).
AMISOM also needs more troops. Perhaps Rwanda, which just crushed the Islamists in Mozambique can help. Especially in rural Somalia.
