You may be right but I beg to differ. Obama called this summit because the migration issue has become a moral, social and political imperative for WESTERN COUNTRIES. It has changed their social fabric and they are worried that unless they do something, their people will revolt. Mabomu wanayarusha wao huko Syria na Iraq..sasa unataka wananchi wakimbilie wapi? To me its their duty kusaidia hawa wakimbizi maana wao ndo wamefanya nchi hizi zisikalike. Sijui kama unafuatilia kinachoendelea Ujeremani. Mama Merkel sasa anawakati mgumu sana. Na Obama being clever, he has realized that western countries need to support and give solidarity to Germany. Otherwise in few years you will have right wingers controlling Europe. And you know the consequences.

Is the migration topic important for thirdworlders like us? Absolutely yes! But kuna angalizo. You remember in the 90's and 00's Africa (read Tanzania) we were host to millions of refugees. Did you see any initiative from the US or EU? (apart from the usual humanitarian funding given to UN to support them?-which was not enough moreover). What I mean is that for Africa migration issue has always been there. And I can guarantee you (I know this for sure). What is in mind of Obama and western leaders is refugees from Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan (sehemu ambazo wao wenyewe ndo walisababisha vita).

Tafadhali sana, tusiwe tunaangalia CNN na kufanya conclusions zetu. Most of these summits are USELESS! And I am pleased Magufuli knows that. We have seen global climate change conference in Paris last year. What did Africa bring on the table? zaidi ya kwenda kulia lia kwamba wasaidiwe ndo wanaumizwa na mabadiliko ya tabia nchi? Lakini ukiangalia nchi nyingi za Africa walikuwa na delegates wengi sana kuliko hata wakubwa wenyewe.
Tanzania has done so much for the world. Tuna maelfu ya askari wetu wanalinda amani huko DRC, Sudan, South Sudan, Lebanon etc! Ngoja Mahiga afanye kazi. Kama kuna umuhimu wa kusafiri Magufuli will travel mpaka mtamchoka...lakini siyo kumhukumu kwa hizi cheap cheap conferences za kuongea kwa dakika tano.....we can do better than that.
Again, Magufuli kusafiri ni kitu kizuri. Lakini afanye hivyo kama kuna faida kwa taifa lake. Na sio kuona hizi conferences...kwenye CNN na BBC tunaanza kuhemka humu. Tufanye utafiti na kuelewa malengo ya hizi conferences. Na zinatusaidia vipi kama taifa!
